Discussion: TOC will it be e real TOC?

DesertGuy, I know what you are saying but I thought they could just note it on the TOC site of teams who qualified by Highlighting teams who have committed to be there as they send in there fee's... It would show other teams "who's going now not just listing them right before the tourny. It might spur on other teams to join the tourny who are on the fence because of lack of teams in there division.

Discussion: TOC will it be e real TOC?

How many teams are going to the Tourny this year? Would like to see a real TOC with as many teams who earned a spot as possible! I think if theres a post by SSUSA with a list of teams signed up as they do with other Tourny's it would get more teams to participate! Thanks

Discussion: Great choice to remove those threads

When I joined this site it was to get away from all those sites with ego's bigger and better than they will ever be out on the field... Yes all of us have ego's here but at our age you would think its time to put them away and share thoughts and idea's here on making Senior Softball a better place on and off the field. It is a shame when SSUSA has to step in and clean us up, what next sending it first to them for censorship?? I missed what caused this but Come on guys let everyone speak there mind, we all have different views and opinions guys like Stoneman & the Wood share theres and seem to be open to other idea's while others take a differnt idea as a slander on them! LEAVE PERSONALITIE'S OUT OF IT!Ignore and indiferrence is the best way to respond..just my opinion...

Discussion: Who's Going to TOC in Florida???

I reposted this to see at this point if anymore teams are going to go! Can SSUSA give us a list of attending teams so far??
I agree this could be a great experiance if we get a majority of the invited teams there!

Discussion: SENIOR NEEDS??? TIME TO GET OVER IT or THEM !!!

First off I have also heard Umps say things about senior players as primadona's, should be home in the rocker and just laugh at some of the players and this wasn't done in a nice way but at the players expense.. when you call them on it the quickly say oh I did'nt mean it that way but the damage was done.. I agree respect should be given and then it will be given back! Most Umps have been good overall guys but everyone know the bad ones and maybe "We" as players should just send a message to the Umpire groups asking they be not allowed to ump our games as the compliants keep coming in on the same Umps over and over they should be removed or banned!
Also $21a game is not bad at all..better than working at a fast food place for $6 hr.

Discussion: EBAY buyers beware.

I have been dealing with Ebay for years in the beginning I was burned once but learned an important lesson.. Ebay is for Ebay they will try to get your money back but they are powerless .. if they ban the guy then he just signs up with a new name.. there resolution dept is also useless in the case the seller dosen't want to work with you..Use Pay Pal and a credit card.. I found out this is the best way if Pay Pal can't or is powerless just call up your credit card company and they will credit back your money from Pay Pal who was the funding provider this has worked 2 times so far.. of course you send back the bat and lose the $10 shipping in most cases but you original amount is back!! Credit card company's at least in this instance help out excellent.. ask questions from the seller and always use credit cards thru pay pal..

Dbax is right, fields were as good as they could be, actually thought they did a good job.. I was playing in the game that the player was hurt, just a good hit and good effort by the SS to make the play ball just hit a softspot with a ridge and up it came.. TD's did a good job at Cheynne with the ground crew working them between games .. I would give the a B+ overall there. If we could get the other fields we play on to be tended like these.... thats another story.. Take care and have a good turkey day!!

Discussion: Altered Bat Update

Stoneman, I will keep posting and I do know we all have ego's. Bats have been altered since there have been players swinging them, its an ongoing problem that has to be changed from the inside out through players and managers as the front line on this problem. With ego's its the same most players out here have them in check. I respect what you have to say as a player and a person.
Keep it honest and open, lets play ball!

Einstein, is it your contention that because we do not follow your rules and opinions that we have nothing say?? I been playing softball all my life and just because someone comes up and states there name dosen't mean there going to tell me or anyone else something of value or be honest, I now know why people make fun of you!! if this site asked for the info I would gladly give it.. but to satisfy your ego forget it.. again when you or anyone else gives opinions I read it and make my own opinions on the subject and do not run and look how said it I take it for what this site is a message board..

OK... I have been watching this dead horse as it it being beat to a pulp!! Let it go and let the powers that be handle it!! I think just having you be known as a cheat is got to be damaging in itself along with who going to have him or her on your team?? time to go into looking forward to this coming season meeting old friends and getting back to what we love about the sport and not dwelling on the past!!
MOVE ON AND PLAY BALL!!
