| April 10, 2009 2awesom | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: SSUSA'S 40+ Division Questions!!!??? Just looking for a little help. I play on a 50+ Team and we play alot of SSUSA Tournaments. A good Friend of mine would like to put a 40+ Team together. Are there any rules that are different in the 40+ Division? This Team would play Major Plus, no problem there. But I am curious about any rule difference's etc. What he would like to do is play in Phoenix in October. Thanks for your Comments/Help! |
| April 6, 2009 2awesom | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Atlantic Coast Championships in Louden, VA DoublePlay6 is right, the games were rained out on Sunday last year. But to be fair, it rained hard Saturday Night. We were one of the teams that did not get to play on Sunday. We decided to play in York, just because it makes more sense for us to go there. |
| March 31, 2009 2awesom | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Atlantic Coast Championships in Louden, VA It is the one run by BVSSA It had been a SSUSA qualifier for years but for some reason it is not this year. It just makes more sense for us to go to York financially. Wish we could play in both, but that won't happen! |
| March 31, 2009 2awesom | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Atlantic Coast Championships in Louden, VA Looks like we will be headed to York, PA instead, unfortunately those 2 Tournaments are the same weekend and due to financial concerns it's cheaper for us to just go to York. I was told that York has approx Ten 50+ teams. |

| March 26, 2009 2awesom | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Hobbies My Hobby, other than softball is collecting Philadelphia Eagles stuff. Let's say there have been 3,000 players who at one time or another have signed a contract with the Eagles. I have about 2,000 of those players autographs. I am always looking for Phila Eagles autographed stuff. I know it sounds bizarre but that's what I enjoy doing. And I know that i probably won't get all of those autograph's but that's my goal! I also have an extensive Phila 76'ers autograph collection. Finally if you need a certified autograph card of Donovan McNabb, chance's are I have it. I know I have issue's but hey if you have autographed Phila Eagles stuff, give me a shout! |

| March 8, 2009 2awesom | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Team Ratings Hi Ray I am one of the coaches/players on the Frederick Chev E&E Metal Fab Team. We have been moved to Major Plus for the 2009 Season. Yes the dug-outs with Bathrooms are rather unique. I would say we will probably be playing at Salem, VA this year, but I am not sure yet. Thanks! Rick |
| March 6, 2009 2awesom | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Team Ratings To I believe Ray from Gekle Bldr's You know I thought they had been Major+ but was not sure. I guess for some reason they were moved back down. We played them at the NE Championships in Cape May, NJ and we had a great 3 game series. We wound up winning, but if we play them as a higher class, they win due to getting 5 runs. But anyway I'm not saying anything negative against those guys, they are a good group of guys! Are you guys going to Salem, VA this year again? We missed playing you guys last year there, because we stunk up the place in the Double Elim. I am hoping you guys are, I think we could have some great games against each other. thanks rick #22 |
| March 5, 2009 2awesom | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Team Ratings IMO I think they missed one Sweet Constr 50's are very capable of playing 50 Major Plus, but hey good for them they remain at the Major level. |

| Jan. 16, 2009 2awesom | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Fran Dowell Named One of Top Sports Planners in America I would like to say "Congrats" & "Thanks" to Fran! My team just got back from the 2009 TOC and in the Championship Game we had a player get hurt who was taken to the Hospital. The next day I received a call from Fran,! She asked about our injured player and asked if he was out of the Hospital and OK? She did not have to do that! I very much appreciated the Call! Fran & Dave are AAA+++ in my humble opinion. Rick #22 Co-Coach Frederick Chev/E&E Metal Fab 50+ Major Plus ** If you want to see how our player got injured, go to Jack's photo's, he caught the entire event! |

| Jan. 10, 2009 2awesom | Topic: Women's softball Discussion: TOC update 50 major and AAA As the player/coach of the Frederick Chev/E&E Metal Fab 50+ Major Team, I just want to say thanks to all of the gang on the Frederick Team! I 've been playing slow pitch softball for more years than i care to count, and this is by far the most fun I've ever had playing ball! We have such a good group of guys, basically all from the same area in south central Penna. The sponsors that we have are wonderful also! We look forward to the rest of 2009, and even though we have now reached the top level of Senior Ball we are ready for the challenge. Winning the TOC was Special. Thanks to Senior Softball for putting on such a fine Tournament. Thanks to Dave Dowell, I have much respect for him. Also, Thanks to the Al Estes Team for playign hard and being a "Class Act" Good luck to all in 2009 |
