May 24, 2004 MTaylor34 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: KC SPA I have received the flyer and entry form for this tournament. It is stating they will be using a .47 COR 525 Comp ball. Is this a false statement? Would someone in the know please post a response. My team was planning on coming to the tournament, but I would like to know the straight scoop on the ball that will be used. |
May 24, 2004 MTaylor34 | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: Anyone know the correct ruling on this? My team also played in Tulsa this weekend. We did not have an umpire inspect our bats until our second game on Sunday and all he looked for was that there was no bats on the rack that were on his illegal bat list. As far as what happened to your team, a bat could have a flat spot and still pass the ring test. The umpires and tournament director should have been prepared with the proper equipment, because we know that these issues will generally come up it a tournament situation. |
