Kennedy Complex gate will probably be locked. The fields are 300' but access might not be available. They are owned & run by City of Denver.

Discussion: LVSSA 55 and 60 Major Plus Teams

Andy,
A 50 Major manager sent me a schedule for 60 major today. It is on the same spreadsheet as his 50 major schedule. 60 Major teams are Double Edge, Master Collision, Nor Cal Merchants, Robson & Texas 60's. This shows us starting at 8am Friday at Shadow Rock. I have no idea if this is final. Our manager got the same email from LVSSA but could not open it. 60 AAA teams are OTD/The Loop, Runner Blue, So Cal Gusto & South Florida Heat. See you in Vegas.

after a team meeting we have too many players with previous committments on the Portland dates. We will not be able to attend. Our remaining schedule is Reno,Salt Lake,LVSSA Worlds, & Phoenix. We will consider Portland next year at our organizational meeting.

Thanks for the response. We will attend if 3-4 other 55 major teams attend. Would Chubb, Reds & any other Northern Cal teams reconsider?

I am the MC shortstop,Bert, and I started the bottom of the 7th with a single. Our pitcher Bob Spada followed me with the walk off bomb. We had a blast all weekend and it was great escaping the snow for a weekend. We look forward to Reno.

Partial 2009 tournament list has been posted. Are the dates for the 50-60 divisions correct for the World,Winter Nationals & Winter Worlds? They are listed as starting on Sunday and finishing on Tuesday. If this is correct, why new starting days?

What happens if a ground ball simply hits the pitchers glove and rolls away. Yes Hit the Gap is right , interpretation by the umpire will be needed all the time. As a SS I guess I can now fill the 5-6 hole.

In the example you use does the player need to have his new 55 card before Ft.Myers, Or will his current 50 card work for this tourney?

Pete D,check the rating of Associated Feeds. They won the 55 major LVSSA Worlds and were bumped to major plus. Animals and Associated Feeds are the same team yet the Animals continue to play major in 2007.
