just posting to ask for your prayers for pete moreno of tucson. he fell ill earlier this year and is doing his best to get well.
pete runs the tucson senior softball league here in tucson.also runs a number of tournaments every year.
in the years i have known him i've had a front row seat watching him work. he & gibby martinez even coordinated a tournament for myself when i was ill, i was down and out for about 2 years. he has my utmost respect as a man of men. so please keep him & his family in your prayers, even for a brief moment. i want to wish him a speedy recovery back to health. i love you brother and i will walk with you through this. - jimmy alanis
i will keep all of you up to date on his progress.

karete - you have a couple of options 1 in chandler at snediger park on saturday mornings, senior league just started march 4, or 2 in glendale at 63rd ave &olive behind glendale community college a senior league is playing every wednesday night, start at 7:00 pm just show up at either location and talk to the people there, there's a good chance you will probably know some of the guys. teams are always looking for new blood. good luck. or you can call me at 602-515-8878................jimmy a

actually it's a bunch of guys from around the valley getting together and gettting a little practice in. they split into teams & play a couple of games. it's a good place to make contacts for senior leagues and also to hook up with a traveling team, there are many in the valley.
i don't know if you are aware of it, but there is a tournament this weekend in fountain hills. at golden eagle park. the 50s start playing at 2:00p.m. if you want more information about this tournament give me a call. cell: 602-515-8878. and ah yes we are all trying to relive our youth.

The Pro: Gary where have you been? You may want me to sell you that Original Velocite back; I have about 7, but I indoctrinated yours into the All Tourney team @ Cullman. I had a severely pulled tendon in my hell & could not use but one leg, Wondering what it will do when I can put all the pork chop behind it. Buy back will be high though!!!
