I have to agree with AZTOMC, you weren't there, you don't play, why do you feel like you have to comment on everything you know nothing about! Please go away.......

Bald headed man went to the 60's, I am now leadoff.
Let me try to figure out who pizzaboy is. Once played for Pill and Pill, lives in PA, knows the team, I give up - who are you?

neck10, No, Pill and Pill is not a 55 major team. SSUSA has us as a major team (have no clue why) We played two SSUSA tourney this year, one with 6 teams and one with 4 teams, finished third in both. SPA and ISSA and ISF we are AAA. 5 games this weekend, we were allowed 15 HR, we hit 7. Repeat, not a major team.

Discussion: USSSA Glen Burnie, Md.

going by thier website, last year it looks like there was two nationals, one west and one east, total teams for both? 18, give or take a team. 4 teams were the most in any age / skill level.
Maybe bob needs to get on here and explain things.

I found this, 2 HR for rec and 5 in the compeititve. both are one up and outs. i think they use senior bats. Bob holland is in charge of this.

They are having a tourney at Bachman in MD the third weekend in October.
Comp and non-comp. Anyone know the HR difference between the two?
Anyone going? DO they allow senior bats? I didn't even know they had senior ball in usssa.

Discussion: NSA Senior Nationals

If NSA is using the 52 core ball, I'll pass. Even with the senior bats. SSUSA, ISF, ISSA, SPA and even ASA are using good balls.
What was NSA thinking?

I agree, seven innings are needed. The worst is when they call time and you sit around for 20 or 30 minutes to play on the same field!

Discussion: 5 run spot that allows 6 runs per inning to lower rated teams

i think DCPete said it best, they score 4 runs or less, give them a run. Five runs, they get nothing. Very Fair.
