Hi Paul......my 60 AAA team based out of Syracuse would be interested also for an outfielder. A team can never have enough outfielders at this age. Let me know his contact info here please.

Discussion: TOC 2017

Well said Tim....this TOC is like no other tourney. My team has had the pleasure and opportunity to attend this TOC in 2015 and this year and both times it has been a special event. We only won 2 games this year (both by one run) and was eliminated by a 3 run HR in the bottom of the seventh inning. But it was exciting to play against teams from other parts of the country. I felt that we represented ourselves well even though being from the Northeast we have not played since last November. It was also a plus that the weather was fantastic. It takes a lot of work and effort from SSUSA to put on all of the added events in addition to the games themselves at the TOC. I want to thank all of the people involved in running the TOC and hope my team qualifies again in the future. After all, it is not often that you get the chance to play against "the best of the best" teams in the country.

Discussion: NORTHEAST STORM

Due to the impending Nor-Easter approaching the East Coast on Thurs Feb 9th, will SSUSA make any concessions to teams that have problems with their players not making it to the Tournament of Champions this weekend ?
This had happened a few years ago and at that time some teams were allowed to pick up players from other teams that had made it to the tourney.
Thanks....

Discussion: MARK YOUR CALENDERS: NORTHEAST CHAMPIONSHIPS

Just a reminder to mark your calendar to put the Northeast Championships on your 2016 schedule. If you are looking for a quality SSUSA tourney with good competition at a 5 field complex with modern rest rooms and on-site concessions, you will find it at Hopkins Rd Complex in Liverpool, NY (Syracuse). Last year we had a total of 50 teams compete in the tourney. You can see the dates and when your age division plays on the SSUSA tourney site. Teams from Canada, Ohio, Virginia, and other locations in the Northeast were present. Plus there are many attractions in the area for you to explore and enjoy....Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, Turning Stone Casino nearby, and of course many venues in the Syracuse area. The Headquarters Hotel (Comfort Inn) is only about 1-2 miles from the softball complex and close to the major interstates and airport in Syracuse.

Hope to see you all there in July,
Chuck Sharkey
