Discussion: Looking For A New Team....

BruceInGeorgia,
It will be tough without the sweettea and grits but I'll try to suffer through it!! HaHa! Hopefully I'll find a team to finish with up this way. Already talked to a AAA team that may go Major in 2009 but SSUSA will not let me play down with them for the rest of 2008 or I would go to New Jersey and Phoenix with them! I think that I can go to Virginia BEach with them so hopefully I'll get to play in a couple more this season! Anyway, stay in touch!

Discussion: Has anyone had a Worth Launch 510 break

I had the chance to swing a 27oz Worth Launch 510 about a month ago and it hit OK...then after 40-50 swings it was very hot! Broke after around 100 swings. I have since then purchased a 28oz and it has become very hot after about 40-50 swings. I have only used this one in a tournament (I could have used my ultra 2 but used th launch 510 instead of the U2!) and try not to use it in BP! This one has about 70+ swings with no signs of cracks or anything and is hitting VERY WELL!! The two bats that I have used were ultra 2 like after the 40-50 swings....I like the tapered knob that this bat has also!

Discussion: ISA Worlds

The ISA World in St. Louis was great! The fields were dry, dusty and hard which caused several BAD HOPS during the tournament, but as Curt said, after the rain it was perfect for a while!! All in all, a very well run tournament with one small problem in regards to game scheduling!! We had 4 teams in our division and we played 6 total games and it took 3 full days to play it because we didn't play until 6pm on friday and then 4:30pm on Saturday. Then, to top those two days off we don't get started on sunday until noon! I'm not sure what all could have been done but I think we could have finished our division either late saturday or at least earlier sunday! Of course this is just an opinion so don't hammer me too hard!! I did enjoy the weekend in St. Louis(thanks to our sponsors) and look forward to the rest of the Worlds...
