| June 10, 2012 LP | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Texas State Championship there is a reason why there is major and AAA ratings myself seeding games dont mean much and we will play a major team in seeding games(we are AAA) but here in texas they put the major team in with AAA teams and thats where i get pissed if there no major teams to play one another then dont have the division we dont just like to contribute our money. you dont put a major team in with a AAA team in the same division but they will texas. happened last year hope it doesnt happen again. |
| June 10, 2012 LP | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Texas State Championship the dallas tournament had to do what had to be done to get the games in because of rain, but there no field maintenance after the games started on friday even though there was alot of time between games and on sat. morning on field 7 still no maintenence from the day before so a poor job on that end. the 65's i know had there pool games taken away yet the 55's had a 7 team round robin instead of double elimination bracket. guess you have to short change the old guys to make the others happy. we had a good time there, we just played bad. |
| June 5, 2012 LP | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Texas State Championship good question JBTexas its tue. and still no game times we have to let players know |
| June 2, 2012 LP | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: Any rules about location of safety screen? why not go with a rubber ball like japan leagues use would solve every thingabout safety. although i think most players would quit the game if it comes to that. |
| May 23, 2012 LP | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: Golden Eagle Batters Boxes you use the regular home plate not the senior mat, go from the middle of the plate four feet to the front and three feet to the back ,with six inches from the edge of the plate and the box three feet wide and thats the batters box . |
| May 20, 2012 LP | Topic: Associations Discussion: AGE & RATING MIXING AT TOURNAMENTS???? last year here in Texas there was six 60 AAA teams to make a good division in a tournament but a 60's major team got put in with us and screwed the whole tournament up. the major team won the tournament hands down. if if happens this year in bracket play , we will demand our money back. seeding games dont matter who we play. |
| May 20, 2012 LP | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Georgetown Tournament hey mad dog how you doing. that i why we didnt get in this tournament as of yesderday i was told there was only one 60AAA team, its the same weekend as reno and thats where three teams form our area are going plus its two weeks before dallas another qualifer. would have liked to play in it as a team for practice for dallas. |
| May 13, 2012 LP | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Recommendations & Cures Capt. Kirk as has been documented, when you are on the base path try and not to run in one spot so long and you wont be as tired at the end of the tournament. |
| April 26, 2012 LP | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Georgetown May 25th ???? first silver streak was in now iffy what happen? sounds to me there might not be enough 60AAA teams for a bracket, plus thats two qualifiers within two week of each other. i'm wondering if thats the reason for not many 60's being there plus a few going to Reno that same weekend. |
| April 25, 2012 LP | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Georgetown May 25th OK thats three teams that we know of lets hope for a least a couple more. |
| April 24, 2012 LP | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Georgetown May 25th what 60's AAA teams will be in georgetown may 25th i know several will be in reno that weekend and would like to see if there will be enough 60AAA to make a bracket. Texas Pickups 60AAA Thanks |

| Dec. 6, 2011 LP | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: TOC Roster addition question mad dog surly you jest, what could be wrong with say winning the winter world and then 14 months later playing in the TOC with 4 to 6 players that didnt play on the original team. not to even mention that even if you dont have to wait that long from winning a tournament to get there the previous year you can still pickup players. |
| Dec. 6, 2011 LP | Topic: Teams looking for players Discussion: Looking for a few players for the 2012 season i'm running this through again, had one inquiry about playing but still need a few 60 AAA players to field a team. with a few good players we will be in the hunt at the worlds. |
| Dec. 6, 2011 LP | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: SSUSA RULES COMMITTEE 2011 AGENDA SYNOPSIS one thing i would like to see changed is the commitment line instead of 20 feet from home plate, make it 25 feet from third base, that would be a real commitment line. for if you are 20 feet from home plate you arent going to run 45 feet back to third. |

| Sept. 30, 2011 LP | Topic: Website comments Discussion: Phoenix Worlds #19 we didnt appeal this year. have in the past and got turned done after every tournament director said we should have been rerated to AA. and after the worlds we get a letter that says because of your dismal season we you are now a AA team for the next year.too little to late. thats when we were a 55 team. now that we are a 60s team we where turned down in 2010 so we keep donating our money and just play. even though i see teams that beat us get moved to AA oh well someone has to be the whipping dog ha ha. #19 which team are you with. |
