you use the regular home plate not the senior mat, go from the middle of the plate four feet to the front and three feet to the back ,with six inches from the edge of the plate and the box three feet wide and thats the batters box .

Discussion: AGE & RATING MIXING AT TOURNAMENTS????

last year here in Texas there was six 60 AAA teams to make a good division in a tournament but a 60's major team got put in with us and screwed the whole tournament up. the major team won the tournament hands down. if if happens this year in bracket play , we will demand our money back. seeding games dont matter who we play.

Capt. Kirk as has been documented, when you are on the base path try and not to run in one spot so long and you wont be as tired at the end of the tournament.

???? first silver streak was in now iffy what happen? sounds to me there might not be enough 60AAA teams for a bracket, plus thats two qualifiers within two week of each other. i'm wondering if thats the reason for not many 60's being there plus a few going to Reno that same weekend.

mad dog surly you jest, what could be wrong with say winning the winter world and then 14 months later playing in the TOC with 4 to 6 players that didnt play on the original team. not to even mention that even if you dont have to wait that long from winning a tournament to get there the previous year you can still pickup players.

one thing i would like to see changed is the commitment line instead of 20 feet from home plate, make it 25 feet from third base, that would be a real commitment line. for if you are 20 feet from home plate you arent going to run 45 feet back to third.

Pricer i didnt mean it to seem like and insult. i think the way SSUSA puts tournaments like rocking reno and phoenix together its well done. now if your taking on a local level the tounament divisions wont be as large. here in texas we have three SSUSA qualifiers and it usually is 4 to 7 teams in our division. the way i see you all talking you seem to not want to play unless there are 10 plus teams in a division, we all just want to play what ever the size of the divisions.

I'm just thankful none of you are in charge, just my opinion. because with everyones input, this great game we all play now, would surely be in a big mess.

doker we would have liked to had you and terry again this year but low and behold we have 15 guys going to phoenix this year heck of a turn around from a year ago when you two made #'s 11 &12 for us and doker you and terry both played a good out field for us. hope you all find a team.

this is what we need , thin out the already thin tournaments that we all attend now. there needs to be more quality tournaments by our existing org. than to have one more org. that weakens the ones we go to now. here in Texas SPA and SSUSA have some of there tournaments on the same weekend or to close together to make a group of larger divisions. just my thoughts
