May 17, 2011 LP	Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: High tourney entry fees and weak prizes... ssusa, spa, and other orgs. are a business and without them all there would be is the local tournaments and we wouldnt get to play teams from all across the nation. but, and there is always a but.when we won our division in 2009 at the vegas winter world tournament, other than havibg to buy your own ring there wasnt any awards given out that even showed we were there. so its play and take whats not given out or just play local, me i like going out of state and playing and meeting fellow ball players.

May 3, 2011 LP	Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Texas tournaments what i'm afraid of is that having two top qualifying tournaments on the same week end will split the brackets where there wont be enough teams in each division to make a good tournament hope there is at least 4 in 60's AAA since we have to play on friday and take a day off from work. see there #6
May 2, 2011 LP	Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Texas tournaments on may 20th there is a SSUSA tournament in georgetown and a SPA tournament in plano would like to know where the 60's are going our 60's team will be in georgetown i'm wanting to know who else so as to see if its going to make in our division. thanks
March 28, 2011 LP	Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Pitcher's Screen vs Rocket Bats/Balls if a pitcher needs a screen to protct his self he should think of another postion to play sense he much have lost his reflexes. we cant dumb down senior ball because a few guys want to hang on to there position when they cant field the ball anymore. i pitch ( 60's divisin) this is just my opinion. if the screen comes here to Texas i'll go fishing.
March 24, 2011 LP	Topic: Players looking to join a team Discussion: SSUSA unfair!! OTE24 a player rated major can drop down one level to AAA he does not have to get rerated to do so. any didision can played one division down. so hes not being pentilized.

March 16, 2011 LP	Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: WHY ??????????? yes JBTexas i have been thinking about what would be a good date to have the ssusa clubs and leagues tournament. i was thinking about the second weekend of sept. let me know what you think of that date. i know you all go to SPA nationals so if its to close to that i'll move it.
March 15, 2011 LP	Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: WHY ??????????? your right on as usual mad dog alot of folks think the 60's dont work, we had to make a decision so we skipped SPA tournaments to make as many as we could of SSUSA but will still miss some. we wont ever have the same team twice i dont think, for not everyone can get off on fridays. we are skipping the texas state tournament so we can play in others.
Feb. 28, 2011 LP	Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Why not San Antonio, TX? since ss-usa in tx starts on fridays this year it will keep our 60's team from making as many tournaments as we would like to. SPA is out altogether because they start on friday. it's either the directors dont think that 60's still work or they just dont care if that division makes. we have to save our vacation days to make the world tournaments. so its the sat. and sun. tournament we will look for. our team wants to suport senior softball assocs.

Jan. 5, 2011 LP	Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: SSUSA FOLKS Fidel sais he is looking into doing some NSA senior softball there around austin i would rather play SSUSA but not on fridays like the THC wants to do. w will have to wait and see who does what to get started.

Dec. 30, 2010 LP	Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Texas Half Century tounaments maddog we are so watered down that i think you guys might even hae a chance to whip ha ha, thats whats wrong with the nov setup having to wait so long to play that the teams become differant that what qualified , but we are going to try and win a few games and see what happens, it will be a good time either way.

Dec. 28, 2010 LP	Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Texas Half Century tounaments i see the the texas half century tournaments for the 60's division for 2011 start on friday, i would like to hear from the other 60's teams if they are going to be able to play many of them since they start on fridays, we dont have but a couple of players that are retired, so the vacation days will run out quick. i guess they think since you are 60 you dont have to work ha.
Dec. 21, 2010 LP	Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: February Tournament of Champions Polk County kbl we have 6 of the original group and picking up 6 new players, that is why the teams that win in say 2009 like we did should play the following feb. instead of waiting over a year to play, then you would have the team that qualified be there instead of a replacement team.
Dec. 19, 2010 LP	Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: February Tournament of Champions Polk County we are coming as tanel AA from texas ---- we won the winter world in vegas in 2009 there will be a tanel AAA from texas also. we have 6 guys from the 2009 team that didnt play with tanel this year so we will represent tanel AA in the TOC.
