Discussion: Rip It senior bat ???

Rip It has fallen off the senior market. No word of any kind and not a sign of life in this area. My guess they either gave up senior softball or could not make a bat that would work. It’s really too bad since they had some good bats and seemed like a good company. My grand DD used the new FP bat and other equipment so I know they are going strong in the girls market. Too bad as I am sad to see them go from senior softball.

Discussion: Hitting clinics

I took some lessons from Bill in September. It had been awhile since I played and the swing was a little off. Must say I was very impressed with his innovative approach to adjust a new swing to an old body. And since the fee was a donation to his daughters school field trip of $10.00 it was well worth it. Do note that my hitting has improved from horrible to somewhat poor but the lessons where great.

I was told today that Miken closed their plant in Mn. and moved to China under new ownership. Anyone else heard this. Are there any USA plants making bats anymore. ?

Discussion: Reaper bat ?

A quick note here, I called softball sales – softball.com – to ask their opinion on a bat for ASA. Before I could finish a sentence he almost ordered me to get a Reaper. Since I see you guys talking about this thing I agreed. Don’t know much about bats so I am trusting you fellows to lead me here. Until now I never heard of this company. Are they a part of Miken or one of the larger companies or new ? If so where did they come from ?

Discussion: Hey Arizona softball !

Thank you for all your help. We will be living in South Chandler so Sun Lakes sounds perfect. I will try to make it out to Fountain Hills as well. Looking forward to meeting the guys and playing some ball. I ordered an ASA bat and should be ready to go. See you in a month or so.

Thanks

Would like to find out about Az softball. What bats to use and where to play. We are going to rent in the east valley area till our new home is build. Now use a U2 most of the time but heard Az has different rules. Any advice would be a great. Will be there in mid Sept.
