Feb. 25, 2011 John27	Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: reebok bats mad dog, Here is the information on my 28 oz endload Reebok Melee that cracked after 60 swings. 12/22/2010 Temp. 70 degrees 40 swings Balls 44-375 Trump Stote that are stored in my house at room temp. Bat is stored in my house. The park is about 10 minutes away. We hit every Wednesday from 3:30 to about 5:00. 12/29/2010 Temp. 60 degrees 20 swings Same balls 44-375 Trump Stote that are stored in my house at room temp. Bat was in Pyro-Flite bat warmer from the time I left my house and at all times at field. Bat is stored in my house. The park is about 10 minutes away. Noticed bat was cracked. I live in NE Florida and bat was rotated after every swing. 60 total swings = cracked bat Reebok International received my broken bat on 1/6/11 and I received my replacement bat on 2/23/11.

I'm actually over it now, don't really care if Reebok makes it right or not. I know mine was hit less than 60 swings. It is a shame the dishonest always makes it hard for the honest people. :(

Pitcherman and Omar K, well stated. The reps were running from tournament to tournament touting how durable this bat is and taking orders. Now that they are breaking at an alarming rate, we the consumers, are supposed to be quiet and take it on the chin. The " Reebok Rep" that I bought my bat from has somehow nothing to do with the replacement, instead I had to send mine to the East Coast distributor in Mass. and it has been 4 weeks!

What is this a government conspiracy we are not allowed to talk about?? Truth is, they are breaking and Reebok is not acting swiftly to replace defective bats.

I don't count, but I knew that I had hit 2 buckets of 20 balls one week and noticed the bat was cracked after the first bucket the following week. I have had 3 Red Ultra's break in the past year and a half with not many swings on them, probably a few hundred swings a piece. I have 2 MM Senior Combats that are over a year old and have hundreds of swings on them and still going strong.
