| Oct. 28, 2008 RedEye | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: dead ball out Was in Phoenix this past weekend. 55 AAA. I saw 5 pitchers get drilled while in the box & only 2 get called dead ball out. Another 2 were drilled out behind the box & no call. Base umpired made the call in each of them. We had a shot hit up the middle & never hit the pitcher but was in the box & ruled dead ball out. Each umpire had a different opinion on how to call it or not call it. Not very consistence at all. Needs some work. I say NO to a screen, only in BP. |

| Aug. 29, 2007 RedEye | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: topics Well, Rabbit what would you like to discuss??? Did you ever get that email I sent you after NSA in AL? I never heard back. | Aug. 21, 2007 RedEye | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Congrads to Ohio Silverrados & the teams we played Terry, When we went there in 05 there where 26 teams. We played all our seeding games (4) before we played the East/West game. But was supposed to be at a different place/time before they changed it. West Coast teams are very good & play nearly all year long, so be prepared. Rose Moffard is a Nice complex BUT again they changed the fields where you first were to play. All the diamonds are the dark red soil from the mountians. Phoenix is a BIG city, so spend some time getting used to it, traffic is really heavy during rush hours & not much less other times. Good Luck & bring back to Ohio another US National Title. john |
