| March 20, 2013 E4/E6 | Topic: Product review Discussion: Socks I went to my local Berkenstock shoe store and bought a couple of pair of Berkenstock 1/2 insoles. They are ridgid and fit from the heal to about the start of the ball. Keeping the arch well supported and they last much longer then the support socks. I have them in my cleats and walking shoes. Since using these I have had no issues with Plantar Fascitis. My research also suggests stretching the calf muscles well before any running or exerting exercise of the feet and lower legs. |
| March 6, 2013 E4/E6 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Senior Softball Poem Nice job Glovedad, well done. Tim as I see it as we age, we all need some kind of aid, we loose our strenght, ability and agility. Telling yourself otherwise is talking to a fool. If the bats help us enjoy the game why not use them. And whats wrong with being able to hit further now then when we were 20 or 30? As far as changing the game, that started when the first bat other then wood was introduced. For me, I like the game as it is, Senior Bats, 44/375 ball, and 0 0 count works just fine. This isnt just my opinion, it is The Majority Opinion withing SSUSA....... |

| Feb. 5, 2013 E4/E6 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: 1-1 count no extra foul tourney Wow, after reading every post in this thread I have to stand with The Wood. As I read it all he is asking for are some FACTS. That doesnt seem too out of line. I havent read anything that is an all out personal attack either. Maybe some ineuendo but nothing that calls out anyone by name. For everyone who wants the 1 n 1 count, if stats hold true, in six (6) years you will vote against it. Since you will be in the 60 or above age group. Taits, I'll be looking for Joe's Platooning thread, he is priceless! Joe I know you are reading this, email me with your thoughts. |
| Feb. 3, 2013 E4/E6 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: NOV 23 and " you dont want to go there, I certainly have more intellect then any of you Pappy" |
| Jan. 28, 2013 E4/E6 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Best Pitcher Tim I'm not arguing your "Facts", only the "Fact" that you seem to always want things changed. My point is, why? Its very obvious the vast majority likes the way Senior Ball is going and is being played. Half of the "Facts" you list are better suited to a circus act. Let me guess, are you a pitcher? You want to return to an era gone bye and its just not going to happen. Pretty plain and simple. Sorry Mark.... |
| Jan. 27, 2013 E4/E6 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Prescription Glasses I use single vision lenses as an infielder. (many on my team will tell you they dont help me) My eye Doc is also a team mate and he wears bifocal transition glasses. I guess its what you can get use to playing with or works best. |
| Jan. 26, 2013 E4/E6 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Glove Off Season Care Mark, put the other hand in the dark corner with the glove. That should teach it a lesson or two. =) |
| Jan. 25, 2013 E4/E6 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Best Pitcher Monty I agree, "In My opinion" he/she really pitched a great game. |
| Jan. 25, 2013 E4/E6 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Glove Off Season Care Mink Oil works very well and doesnt add the Vaseline affect of weight. |
| Jan. 25, 2013 E4/E6 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Best Pitcher Tim you need to cry someplace else. If I had that many things to piss and moan about I wouldnt play Senior Ball. And for the others who took this thread as anything but a fun place, you are far too serious about life. Lighten up boys. In My opinion. Mark, thanks for taking many of us back its been fun! In My opinion...... Thanks Mike.... |
| Jan. 24, 2013 E4/E6 | Topic: Bats Discussion: Who is best to buy a new Meele from ? Mike, I bought mine from Ed Andrews or surf88, he is top notch and competitivly priced. And he takes care of any issues you may have with your bat and in a timely manner. |
| Jan. 24, 2013 E4/E6 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Glove Off Season Care Here in California we usually put a ball in the pocket and toss the glove back in the bag until the next weeks game(s). However this weeks games look in jeopardy with this rain. =( |
| Jan. 18, 2013 E4/E6 | Topic: Players looking to join a team Discussion: Tournment Pitcher from NY looking to join a team Southernson, either he ages very well or this is a hoax. Or the FB page may be his son/grandson. |

| Jan. 18, 2013 E4/E6 | Topic: Players looking to join a team Discussion: Tournment Pitcher from NY looking to join a team Kennard with your normal swing you can pretty well undress most middle players. I wouldnt want to see you antagonized. =) |
| Jan. 18, 2013 E4/E6 | Topic: Players looking to join a team Discussion: Tournment Pitcher from NY looking to join a team Cerce, its a kids game we play. With your "confidence" you better thicken up your skin. I have a feeling you are in for far more ribbing then you are prepared for with your self gratifing attitude. Prove yourself on the field, thats where it counts. Is Tobays Tigers a tournament team or a local league team? If you want to showcase your talents, look for a tournament team, thats where the best play the best. imo |
| Jan. 17, 2013 E4/E6 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Juicing To Heal & Strengthen HJ thats pretty much what my Dr's told me, however they also told me the sugars in fruit were far more diluted then what we get from "alternate sources", that is what I am guessing they meant by good sugar. Thanks for the info... |
