Lefty and Perl. Thank You for the feedback. No I have not hear that yet but it is something I will look into ASAP. Will get back with you. Perl was the group deal part of the deal that a coach bought bats for his team? Lefty and Perl you can both give me a call on Monday during the day at 330-419-0205.

Thank You.

Hey Lefty? Was that a 2016 Big Cat or was that the 2014 with the red, white and black barrel. Just curious. Thank You. Appreciate it...

Cyborg45, Whitey is right. Have patience and you will be rewarded. To me any Senior bat is hot anyway you look at it. Senior bats are high performance bats. That is why there is no warranty's on the bats. Miken is working hard and continues to improve all the time to make a great bat with great durability. The Ultra 2 Black might seem to take a little longer to get that extra footage you are looking for, so it might take you a little longer to get to where you need to be, but they are lasting a whole lot longer now. Good Luck with the bat. Keep me posted when it gets to that hot spot...

Thank You

Discussion: 2016 Worth Dennis Rulli Senior Bat Balanced SBDRSR

Hey Guys, just so everyone understands. Alan is on the right track as far as Worth and Miken making any Worth Senior bats this year. The last ones made for Worth were the Rulli a single shell bat, and the Jeff Hall Senior model a 2 piece bat. Also there was Grey looking Senior Legit. Great bat, just ask Clatter? He kills it with that bat. You can find them at a number of places at some really good prices.

All 3 bats played well and from some of the extensive testing they said the Rulli played very well head to head with the 2 piece Hall model. The durability was not like the new Miken and Worth bats because of the new design that Miken and Worth are using. There is a Jeff Hall 2016 Legit bat (model number SBL2JL) but that is a USSSA/NSA model. They are getting ready to launch a 1 piece Jeff Hall ASA model bat as well. Those will be 24.5 thru 27.5. Model number will be SBHAMA. Hope this will help a little.

Miken is putting all of their senior bats in one basket for right now. I have been working on some other type models for the future. Which will be sooner than later.

Good Luck to everyone at the TOC in Winter haven. This was a tourney that I would go to almost every year to just be there with all the players. I miss not going there this year but things are always changing in the softball world.

One quick note to all. If I was playing now I would always have 1 aluminum bat in my bag for those cold mornings at Winter Haven or Auburndale at this time of the year. I believe in saving bats for the right conditions if I have to. Just a thought...

Discussion: Mikens New Ultra II Black debuts.....

OZ40 is right on with the weighting system. The Balance has 0 polyurethane in the end cap. The Maxload is 1/2 oz and Big Cat is 1 oz. Let me explain something here. Even if it is a balanced bat there is still some additional weight at the ends of the bats. This additional weight is to help with the insertion of the end caps. The way the end caps are done is exclusive. But there is some weight in the end of the bat. I have notice that the end caps are not coming out like they use to every now and then. There is some additional polyurethane in all of the bats to help with securing the end caps. The rods in the handle will offset the end weight so that the bat will swing like a balanced, 1/2 oz. or 1 oz. feel. I hope this will help. I do know that you can find the original red Miken Ultra 2 for seniors at Direct Sports. This is an exclusive Miken has with them.

Who did not know this. Best thing to do is go to a store and look for yourself. Put the bat in your hands and then determine. Everybody sells all of the bats.

Discussion: Team 1 Sports Fall Camp Report

Thank you Mark. Yes Prayers do work. I know one thing for sure, and that is you have to take it slow. I remember asking the doc when I had my bleed in my head, will I be able to hit again. I think the wife was pissed because that is the first thing I asked him. It is funny now when I think back but it was not funny then. So with the good Lords help I am swinging again and it never felt as good. Can't say better because I have some work to do on the swing, but it did feel good... Thanks again for the kind words.

To anybody that wants to know, they are the same ball as the ISA X-Rock that is being used now in Vegas. The only difference is the cover is synthetic. One thing for sure, they do play good in any type of weather. I never said they were a ball that we at Anaconda was working on. If you remember, the other ball companies had their own solution to a double walled ball. All companies were then told they can not use those balls. Only the ISA/SSUSA uses the double walled ball in sanctioned play. If you look at the ball closely you will see it is not a sanctioned ball for any league play. Maybe Alan is planning on starting his own softball association.

Graphite, right now I have a couple of different ideas on what I want to do. The one team would be possibly from Alabama. Got a couple of different things offered at me. Not sure just yet.

OZ,thank you for the Ebay. I have know that for years. I have bought some from there. I usually pick my shoes up at the Nike Outlets in Florida. When I use spikes they are usually the type with the little tips on the bottom.

Jones32, Thank You. Trying to get after it. One of these days we will hit together for sure.

Doerbaum, Thank you for the kind words. I did enjoy hitting at Rumpke. It was a hitters park. I know I hit some long ones there. The shoe thing is always a welcome. As you can see I really don't have a problem hitting in tennis shoes. Yes the legs is a good thing, that is where I got all strength in my swings.

Gary, I will always keep you guys in mind. I would like to start hitting early next year outside and inside during this winter. So we will get together for sure.

Thanks guys.

Talked with Carl Rose yesterday and he is ready to start swinging the bat again. He will be 50 soon. So he wants to get into a little senior ball for sure.

Thanks Mike...I wish I could find a pair of shoes that will fit this big old foot. I usually wear size 16's and now and then I can wear a 17. Depends on the maker of the shoe. I have a pair of Nike shoes that I will need to break in. I can hit in anything. When your foot is that big you have a tremendous foundation. Ha! Ha!

I along with the people from Anaconda Sports (Frank Short, John Stote, and gang)are sending you prayers for a complete recovery at this time. Wishing you the best of luck with this issue. We will see you soon on the ball fields again. Take your time and do what the good doctors tell you.

Thank You Cal50. Just trying to get it all back together. She is coming. I have never wasted a swing on trying to hit the middle. No matter what the situation is I am always trying to pull the ball. But you never know. You can accidently miss one and not know where it is headed. Ha! Ha!

Hey Ho, good information there. Was not sure on the rules. Now I know why the insurance companies don't allow it.
