Discussion: Hard time getting ahold of Team 1 sports re: broken Ambush

You never said anything about wheelchairs for that I apologize. I am a retired Naval Officer with 24 Years of service. Not all the wonded warrior teams are on wheelchair. I am very sensitive to it. The point here is that a senior bat for the most part don't last that long even with little people swinging it. Hopefully you get a new bat. I strongly suggest that you don't post anyhting here if you do. We all are going to want a replacement bat. AgAng my apology for the misunderstanding. Good luck.

Discussion: TOC 2 ??

Not sure that SSUSA endorses this tourney. KBL that is good for your teams. DHF for example that was a local team that we put together to play at VA Beach tourney. We won one game if I recall correct and I can mentioned at least few more. There are 203 berths awarded make the math. Rememeber in ISSA if you pay you play...there is not a whole lot of enforsement when it comes to rosters. At a lot of tourney rosters are not even signed...Even though it sounds as if I don't like ISSA the contrary is true, I believe that for $500-600 you should be able to play where ever level you desire and with whom ever. Sometimes for one reason or another you might not be able to play any particular wknd but can play others so if a team is in need of a player or two why not allow that player and team be able to hook up and play. Personally I believe that there is way to much regulations on Senior ball at this age should be mainly for the fun of it and frienship...My 2 centavos.

He might be referring to the ISSA TOC which is in Jan. However the ISSA is not a truly TOC because everybody qualifies regardless if you won a tourney or not. Check the awarded berth list if you don't believe me. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years.

Please tell me that this fool is not paying $300 for senior bat. Dude I know that Yellow combat might last a little longer but at the end of the day is a senior bat. Combat has what 6 models and do you really think that they are all that different when all of them are priced about the same. Hey I have a rock that sings and give you luck with the ladies...sell price $100.00. e-mail me @ afoolishard2find@Stupidis.whatstupiddoes. LOL

Wagon hope you make some money.

My question is. How many Senior Utrip tourneys have you played on the last 5 years? Me personally none. So in simple words who cares what they do or ASA does they are nobody when comes to senior ball. My 2 centavos.

Baer, Thanks for your kind words. To tell you the truth playing with you guys back 2010 and listening to you, geoff, Stack, Tony, Pat and the rest of the squad talk about hitting did a lot for my swing. It was like a kid on a candy shop, I appreciate all the knowledge and the tutoring. Hey guess what I can play 55 this year and I know that there is a team that wears purple out MD that can use my services and it will be perfect fit. LOL. It is always a pleasure to share the field with you. Say hello to the wife.

For ASA the Stealth SCN9 which has over 3000 and counting and 4 Utrip the Red TPS catalyst (replacement for the yellow one) the best kept secret...hot,hot,hot.

Go Yankees. No way Jose. Must likely it will be one pitch on Sunday...to far to drive for that. Not to crazy about turf fields...MLB and the NFL stopped using then...I wonder why. Good luck in Jan.

Discussion: What does it take to be a Major player?

I agree with all the comments about a 5 tool player. However this is my twist to the topic. Senior bats changed what a 5 tool player is. Here is my point. In 2010 I played 50 M for the 1st time with Metro Stars (2010 TOC Champions) and I want to say that on my second or third game with the team I was in 1st and the next batter got a single and I stretch it and slide in 3rd safe. After the inning was over the coach pulled me to the side and asked me why I went to 3rd...when Baer Chandler(SPA impact player list) was coming up and he was going to hit HR which he did. Here is the point with senior bats and especially on a Good major team everybody hits in the 700 or better, therefore u can almost go from station to station, Defense is almost none existant especially in the IF where bullets are coming at you. I have played senior tournaments on where I probably had 2-3 catchable balls hit at me on SS the entire wknd. I believe that the new definition of a senior major player is somebody that can hit 850-900 with power and is a great OF or have the audacity to pitch. Running the bases is something of the past and so are double plays for the most part. Mis dos centavos.

Hey How much are you willing to pay? I demand 10K a weeknd plus all expenses paid and I coach your high caliber team. I am confused how hard is to make a line up and let people play, if you don't hit you sit. Simple to me, that was my philosophy when I used to coach. Call my agent and lets get deal done. LOL

Discussion: ASA WORLDS AT BURLINGTON

Since U guys ambushed my post. I have something for you all. This argument sounds very familiar. The rich keep getting richer and the middle class well heck with them. Turn two (rich) has the assets to get bigger and better and pays the same as any other team (taxes); the other teams (middle class) want to compete but can't; however they are forced to pay the same or even more (taxes) because in reality they have no chance of winning. So Turn two even though they pay the same they have a very good chance to win the other teams have no chance...so their return on their investment is minimum...well they got a chance to play and loose to the mighty turn two. LOL. Interesting. Good luck to all.

If U want me U better come get me now. U know who U are. LOL. Good luck to everybody down there. ASA has probably one of the better winner package deals. Not like some other Assoc that they give U the same patch over and over again. Have fun without me...I will remember U. Don't call me next week. Just having fun.
