Lecak, great idea, but dude this all in fun. They open the door and we walk through it. I personally saw Jose and Mark hitting bombs with the As back when I was stationed at the Naval Hopsital Oakland. Plenty of love for Jose...Ozzie I know he is called up but I can't even tell you the team...really don't care.

Wow. Another better than the rest Senior bats and we as fools will by it. I got few friends that still have senior bats in the wrapper, because they buy the next great one before they get a chance to use the old great one. LOL. Guys a senior bat is a senior bat 300 feet is the same a 400 feet. Wait a year and you get a great senior bat at very good discount.

Discussion: EASTERN NATIONAL WEATHER

How is the weather down in Raleigh? I know what the weather online is looking like but sometimes the local forecast is a little more accurate. I know the TD will not cancel it...he makes more money if all the games don't play out. So he has a vested interest on at least playing couple of games. Don't look goog weather wise. Hate to drive a long distance to find out that after a game or so everything is canx. Just running my mouth....

Discussion: SENIOR BATS

This is my philosophy. Why spend the money on the newest senior bat when a year later you can buy the same bat for almost half the price. There are senior bats out there for $110 or less. To me for the most part a senior bat is a senior bat, they are all hot as heck. The only difference is prefernce either EL or balance or Miken over combat, etc. I am a little frugal with my scarce resources. So my new senior bat will be a 2013 version of whatever is cheaper. My 2 centavos. LOL.

Discussion: Hitting

I am going to comment since I am already signed on. I am not a great hitter but have a decent swing. What I did not have was discipline at the plate...but when I played with Metro Stars 50M few years back few of the guys (Baer, Geoff, Pat and few others) stress on me the importance of only swinging at strikes and been more selective. I probaly get walk 3-5 times during a tourney. That increases your OBP actually mines increased about a 100 points. Bottom line in my humble opinions is both and they are directly proportional to each other. One without the other don't work.

Discussion: Worth legit

Thanks guys. I looked at it and is the red cap of the end cap that came off and is cracked. I e-mail Alan the pictures and he told me to call worth and that most certainly they will send me another one. I don't think that it can be safely fixed. I am calling worth this morning. I am hoping to get the replacement back for next wknd for the ISSA tourney in Salem, VA. Again thanks.

Very satisfied with this bat performance but the end cap came off in about 75 swings. In interesting the other bats i.e. ASA or Utrip bats don't have so meany issues as the senior ones do or at least not to my knowledge and experience. Same manufacturer why so many issues with senior bats...? What glue is recomended to use and procedure? Thanks for your advice. Very dissapointing.

I just got my 27 yesterday and I went out still with the wrapper on and within the first ten swings the ball was flying at least 320. I am not a power hitter I am only 5'8" 180 give or take. This bat without a doubt is the hottest thing out. I prefer EL and have the Ambush and Reebok 27EL. They don't COMPARE to this thing. It only has about 30 swigs on it and it is already hotter than my other two seniors. I am playing 55AAA in Richmond this wknd. I pitty that 6-5 hole. If U R playing third, play on the grass...just a warning. LOL...Mis dos centavos.

Discussion: TOO MUCH GLOVE OIL

Gunny2...You are killing me. That is a good one!!! LOL. Hey when are you coming up north? I am playing 50AAA with a bunch of retired Marines I guess they need a little Navy guidance. LOL. I believe my custom glove (PR flag and my name stenciled) is going to be fine. I came up with the bright idea of putting it in the dryer with a lot of wet towels and it seems to do the trick, it feels much softer and the oil is gone, right now I have tight with a ball inside of it. Will see when I get home this afternoon. Thank you all.

Discussion: TOO MUCH GLOVE OIL

Gents/Ladies.

I just bought a brand new glove but I put way too much oil on it. One of the worth reps told me to put it in the oven for 10 min at 350 which I did even though I knew that wasn't porbably right. It still has a lot of oil and it is very stiff...What is the best way of removing the excees oil and soften it. Thanks in advance for yoru advise.

C U at Glen Burnie, MD this weekend.

If any 55M or AAA needs a player please let me know, I am already on a 50AAA team but we are not going to MB, so I guess I could also play 50 but I will have to be released after the tourney. I can play SS anywhere on the OF or 2nd. Do not play third nor do I catch. Prefer to hit on the top three but the order does not matter, everybody has ro hit at least once before the next batter hits...757-685-4043.

Look at Metro Stars VS Southern Elite. Very nice plays, Stack diving...or what ever he did on the OF (that was the play that decided that game and the rest is history) Jerry diving on the 6 hole, me swinging the original and only GSC (pic 79), me sliding on 2nd just like Robbie Alomar, Gunney from Southern Elite being called safe when he was out by an inch. He still argues that he was safe...and he is right the ref called him safe. LOL. Great memories and great team!!!
