Discussion: Players Needed

WE are seeking 2 or 3 players for a 60 Major team out of Kansas City Missouri. Any state adjoining Missouri would be eligible. We are looking for committed Ball Players that would like to finish the year out ending in Las Vegas Worlds. We are looking at about 3 tournaments in the KC area. Our team has been decimated by injuries that you just cant make up. Our starting Pitcher, and additional infielder a couple of outfielders....its just unbelievable. We have won Worlds and taken 2nd, losing in the if game in the 50 Major division as well as playing Major+. We are the KC Barons and have a great group of guys.....no drama. Come help us finish out the year!
Please call Mark at 913-446-0870

Hey all you players out there! We have put the KC Barons pretty much back together. We are at the 60 Major level now and are looking to fill out our roster. If you want to challenge yourself and are really dedicated to softball like us, there's always room. We are looking for a couple of players, outfielder and infielder help, We are looking for a exciting year that not only offers competitive play but actual fun hanging together. We are based out of KC Missouri. We have won Worlds in Vegas, lost in another Championship if game and had success even at the Major+ level. and are very competitive, while still maintaining a great time. Guys what's the use of going out of town and never seeing each other. We like to have dinner together, hang out at the pool and lie to each other on how good we used to be! Give us a call 816-686-3547 ( Mark) or Brett (913)-458-1796

Discussion: the new bat "Nightmare"

Ok, I am the one who purchased the bat "along" with Brian. I'm not sure what pictures were viewed but the bat did NOT have an abused end cap. I'm not mad at anyone, I just sent the bat back to Kevin to allow him to see the damage. I have had success with Kevin in the past and do not hold anyone responsible for the bat.
That said, just because I accepted the decision to not replace the bat does not mean I am happy about the choice, and I do believe it is a choice. The bat manufacture Rep called me,
" Brandon" and said that we had not even paid for the bat, that caused some confusion. Neither here or there, Brian paid for half the bat and did not need to be called a liar. I know what shape I sent the bat back in, I have pictures of it because Kevin asked me to take them for him. Kevin said that it was more than likely a flaw. I understand things happen, but instead of calling Kevin a liar I chose to find a alternative explanation for the damage.
The comment about smashing the bat into the ground violently is just wrong.

Discussion: Congrats to the KC Barons

Thanks guys. We had a great time and played very tough competition. I'm sure everyone has said it, All the teams are good at Worlds. It takes some luck and timely breaks to get to the end, and we had our share. Congrats to ENR they were a class act and well deseved champions.

Congrats to JJ Sports for their win at the Mid-West. Great game in the final over a top notch team DLB/LTS Grading out of WI. Special thanks for the Scrap Iron Aftershock team.
It wasn't enough they had horrible fire issues this past month, but the shooting in Aurora directly effected players on the team. Aftershock had law enforcement competing on their team from Aurora and our hearts go out to them as well as to all the victims of this senseless crime.

Just a comment on the theory of getting hurt by a batted ball...were freakin 50+ it hurts when we get out of the car. Leave the game alone. Use good balls, good bats and get rid of the Home Run limitations that evidently the players voted in. I would be more concerned about giving me mouth to mouth after my fat azz made it to second.

Does anyone know how the player for the team from NJ is doing? did he have a heart attack? Your team showed that even though the Statue of Liberty faces away from NJ, you all have our respect. Best wishes!
