| July 24, 2012 titanhd | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: 5 run spot that allows 6 runs per inning to lower rated teams I think that lower team should only get the handicap run per inning if they score their 5. Anything less per inning they don't get the extra run. |
| July 19, 2012 titanhd | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: TOURNAMENT WINNER AUTO MOVEUP SSUSA Staff. I agree that ratings interpretation are routinely misinterpreted but, the issues arise when the rating rules aren't adhered to across the lot. Case in point. Team wins the 50 Major Northern Championship two years in a row and not bumped to plus. And without an appeal because the 6 team criteria was met they now play 55 AAA ?? Explain that.Please. |

Roller Bag Questions shelf is not hard but, will hold anything that you place in the comparment when bag is in the hanging position.I have a couple of gloves, batting gloves, water bottle, spray just a lot of "stuff" in mine and it holds without issue. |
| July 6, 2012 titanhd | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Michigan Senior Classic Pricer. Sorry for the spelling. We got bumped to Major and are "rated" Major by the association but, I don't think that we are Major team. That's what I meant. Do you think that your team is a Major team? B-Dub . Chicago prime beat Doug and Dons and played (Sheeran) Spelled it right Price! |
| July 4, 2012 titanhd | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Michigan Senior Classic I agree with B-DUB.With the exception of the Northern Championship the Brackets are always a guessing game and in disaray at the Michigan Tourneys. However B-DUB at the last tourney the 50 bracket was a competitive bracket without runs or extra players. Both of the "major" teams in that Tourney were not that strong. The finals featured a AAA team (Chicago Prime) and a "rated" Major team (Shereen) not two Major teams. The worst thing was that after the seeding games Bracket play was single elimination. Corky. If there is somplace else to play. GO! |
| June 20, 2012 titanhd | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: MN SSUSA QUALIFIER RESULTS Webbie25. Steve and Gary both made essentially the same statement or at least Steve agreed with Gary. Are they both "losers" now? Most of us are over 50 and should be beyond the name calling stage. I'm sure (positive) that you could have stated your opinon without going "outside the box" Enough of the name calling. |

| April 24, 2012 titanhd | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: 2012 Home Run Rule Clarification Understand too that the allotted limit does not have to have been reached for this rule. Both teams could have hit zero homeruns thru out the game and the one up rule would still apply. That means that The Home team could hit the first homerun of the game in the bottom of the seventh and it would not count as a homerun. |
| April 22, 2012 titanhd | Topic: Bats Discussion: Vegas in April Does anyone know what is he price that Surf 88 sells the Reeboks for? Does everyone pay the same price? |
| April 22, 2012 titanhd | Topic: Bats Discussion: Need your input HEIF. Not understanding how anyone can say that more guys don't hit deep more today than in the 80's. Granted there is some difference between a REC player and one that plays a lot of tournamnets but,be it as it may a Rec player or a "Tournament player" (as you say)- either or will hit the ball farther with today's equipment. You are fooling yourself to think otherwise. I know that it doesn't matter but, just to state. I play on the National Level. |

| April 17, 2012 titanhd | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Not sure what this is saying, but....... Bomber7 in each of your "arguements"there are no screens involved or mentioned. Rhetorically. What would the numbers that you referenced (ASA & 2011 Worlds)dwindle to if you added screens to the equation. My opinon is that you'd have a lot less teams with screens and senior bats than you would with no screens and no senior bats. I think that screens or the lack of is what Gary 19 was driving to. Question for all. What does The fact that ASA is now allowing Senior bats but keeping the ASA ball indicate? I read the arguement that Senior bats cut down on the illegal bat.(shaved or otherwise). Well, now we have the Association (ASA) that initiated all of the bat criteria allowing Senior bats, and at the same time, if the bat cheat arguements are valid also the possiblity to use "illegal"(ASA -USSSA)bat. Is ASA committing to their ball being more safe than the ball we use as Seniors or is the change to allow Senior bats just to have more teams attend their Tournament ?? |
