I played there last year as well. One of the best that I played in last year. Well run-good umpires. One of the fields/complex wasn't Yankee Stadium but, it was playable without issue. Playing there this year as well.

HO; The format used in Akron this weekend does not lend itself to my ever playing there again. When a team has no chance of winning on Sunday and teams voluntarily leaving the tourney with games left on the table should open ones eyes that that format needs some restructuring.

Stick, Plane ride caused the issue. I had the same issue a few years back.Pulled Muscles not spine. Sitting in one position for a long period of time caused the muscles to stretch. I could hardly get off the plane. Guess what. You did more damage on the return flight. I went to a Doctor not a Chiro. He gave me muscle relaxers and I used the Hot tub and it got better over a few weeks. Now I always wear a back brace for Flights and long car rides.

Discussion: Senior bat 1 year warranty

Needs some clarification but, what it appears is what they are representing is not a manufactures (MIKEN) warranty but, their own (Sellers) warranty.

•Part Number: SPU2M-3-28
•Product Condition: Brand New
•1 Year VMInnovations Warranty!

Discussion: Sponsor looking to finance an "established" Men's club

Wood :You're speaking to Sparky about the "I" player of today and "what we have today is much more individually oriented." I would think that you would appreciate jshereen for turning him down for the benefit of his "TEAM."

Sparky what the person that was willing to shell out 10 grand for 1 (one!) person to be able to play. Is that really giving back? Sparky may be OLD but, he is far from "old school".

corvette_ace & txtable: jshereen didn't let his players dictate anything, nor did he say that he even asked his players. What he said was that he asked players that have played with the "sponsor/player.Obviously the response wasn't a positive one.

If the sponsor/player was worth having I don't think anyone would technically have to pay 10000.00 to "buy" him a team for him to play with.

I happen to agree with Jeff.

Discussion: question regarding paint chips

I agree with MONSTA that per the bat there probably isn't anything to worry about but , for being allowed to use may be a different concern.

I found that removing the clear coat before using a new bat helps prevents this from occurring. Spider-webbing is mostly cracks in the clear coat. No clear coat, no spider web. If you properly remove the clear coat you won't have spider webbing and you will minimize or completely eliminate paint flaking.
