| Feb. 19, 2013 Big D from Tennessee | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: 2013 Classic Spring Training Bruce, Returned triumphantly to his form of winning several prizes during the Banquet. Several guys won multiple prizes (SOFTBALL GEAR). In reality the prize winners (won) enough to cover thier travel and the camp fee. Several guys and gals that attended the camp were able to hit enough BP to last them for 6 weeks or more in just 2.5 days. Monster Softball - Memphis - My Team Al Borsdorf Tennessee Hall of Famer - along with Danny Cloud our Crafty Pitcher DT Express - GA Good group of quality players Georgia Monarchs - They can play with anybody!! Edge 60's - They have some very good players Patty Mac's Team - Always a quality bunch Tri-State Merchants - South Carolina What about that Guy Name D12 What a hell of a hitter!!!!!! The boys of Summer out of Tampa Hollis 50's and 60's and the 65's WOW Team One / Florida Renegades - Almost unbeatable most weekends - Great Defense, Good Hitting and great guys! Bruce your 60 Major Plus Team (Hitters - Hitters - Hitters) Randy Smith out of Louisana Woody, Curtis, Mike, TJon and the Gang Finest and most friendly guys that I ever met Columbus 50's, 55's Southern Elite - Pete has put together a extremely competitive team some very outstanding players along with Sgt, Major Gunny Hendricks 55 Major Plus out of Texas - Perrinal National Champions OKI - Big Dale Mayo and his gang are Pound for Pound the Biggest (Tallest) and strongest team in our area of the country - They can score 50 any game that play - against anybody. Everytime we played against one of his teams Gunny lit up the scoreboard with RBI's He hit to left field, Center and Right Field with amazing Power The Same with Steve Gorrell with Hollis good bat control (Both CST campers BTW) |

| Jan. 24, 2013 Big D from Tennessee | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: The Annual Classic Spring Training (CST) trip to Jacksonville, Fl Guys and Gals, It is only a few weeks until I head to Jacksonville to Hit BP until my hand bleed for 3 wonderful days. This is an oppurtunity for any one to pickup some valuable hitting, fielding and pitching tips from a group of great guys that will be at the camp. Curt and Audie Hollis, Ed , Davy Randy Parker and the rest of the local staff do a great hosting and organizational job at this camp. Last year it was a blast for me I met some great guys like Maddog, Mr,Griffith, some very fast and strong Young Guns. The camp is for all skill levels - Some of us get to Jax early on thursday and leave late on Sunday - We are the "Crazy Softball Junkies" Check out the CST website and the low cost! | July 15, 2012 Big D from Tennessee | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Big D Headed to Cleveland , Ohio - Guys, the morale was at a alltime LOW when we had BP in Brookpark Fields on Friday at 10 Am. Becuase Gary19 did not Show up!! The guys we struggled thru Batting Practice "any how" without Gary19. It was a pleasure to hit with Mighty Mike and the Gang. I would like to thank them again for thier Hospitallity once again. Mike the "Sweet Swinger" as he was known in the Day - Showed several signs of a good comeback We talked about all of the guys that are not with us anymore - for one reason or another. We encourage all Men our age to get involved in a daily activity and stay in shape , whether you are playing Big Time Softball or Just walking, biking, basketball or just working out in the gym Please Guys Do something and live longer. Gary19 maybe we see you somewhere down the road????? |

| Feb. 19, 2012 Big D from Tennessee | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: 2012 CLASSIC SPRING TRAINING I just returned from Jacksonville Classic Spring training hosted by Curt Hollis and his staff! I met some good people (120+) including but not limited to "Mad Dog" , all of the guys all gals had a good time - There was plenty of BP. , A great banquet, lots of tall tales, several late nights, several early mornings - Then the best of all - NO RAIN!!! Sat 75 Degrees Sun 80 Degrees Several prizes were given out at the banquet - the least of all 15-20 Free Bats!!!!!!!!!. Homeruns were plentious - I even witnessed Mad Dog hitting a couple of Taters!! WOW Yes there was a lot of base hitting going on also - Many more games are won by base hitting - Than homeruns!! But it feels good to hit them!! See ya - Bruce, Mike, leroy, Tiny, Ed Reed, Joe and all of the many many more! Have a great 2012 Season Big D - Monster Softball - Memphis, TN 50 Major |

| Oct. 3, 2011 Big D from Tennessee | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Faults of SPA Not a good Idea to bring the Major Teams to Exchange Park in Pensacola! Major Teams at any age group have OUTGROWN "275-280" Foot fences at Exchange Park. It is harder for a Major Caliber Player to keep the Ball in the Park than it is for a AAA Player to Hit it out of the Park. The results of this was witnessed in some of the 50 Major Teams games Guys trying to hit base hits " This makes it extremely Dangerous for Pitchers and Infielders!!!. Senior Men 50 and above are not "Fat Beer Bellied Old Guys of the Past" 50 - 65yr old guys are now stronger and more fit than ever before - In some cases we are in better shape than 40 year old guys!! So don't make rules that in-danger pitchers and in-fielders - unless you are a Pitcher or In-Fielder My 2 cents Big D |

Congrats goes out to "2012 50 Major Champions" - Monster Softball / "2011 Pensacola 50AAA SPA Champions" We fought thru a very tough 5 team Major Bracket! 1. Monster Softball - Memphis, TN 2. Clear Channel TV (Man for Man - The most powerful hitting team around) 3. DT Express - Welcome to the "Majors" 4. Team Arkansas - Also a very - very Powerful team 5. Randy Smith - Perrinial Champions at every tourney!!! But Played Short Handed all weekend. The 50 rules we a little "Flexi" at times Pool Play versus Bracket Play! Monster Softball we were extremely fortunate to win this divison - But the softball Gods were in our Favor - This Weekend! " remember there is always next weekend" Big D |
