| March 18, 2012 Chief144 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Mesquite or should I say St George!!!!! I believe the playing sites were posted at least 30 days ago. If you look on the Msg board you can already see where you will be playing in Reno. That is not until Jun, so that should give you time to find a room! Yes, it says it is "tentative" playing sites, but I have yet to see them change. Don't blame someone else for your failure to get the info in a timely manner! |

| Aug. 16, 2011 Chief144 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Cal Cup While we all wish more teams had made the trip because this was an excellent tournament. The fields were better than some in the TOC and between each game they were raked, chalked, and most times watered! Great job by the grounds crew!! The umpires were consistent and it was great to have 2 for all the bracket games. We were handed our rewards after the Champ game as is always done. I can only think that something else was going on with the Director for them not to be done. Since I am from Fresno and played both 65s & 60s, I hope the Cal Cup returns next year. I think most of the teams enjoyed playing here! |
| June 23, 2011 Chief144 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Game On 65's Before too many rumors get started about the demise of Game On, it is true we will not be playing for the remainder of this year, but let me be clear we have not disbanded and plan to be back next year. There are several factors that have contributed to this very tough decision, which are too many to get into here, but we want to field a competitive team and at this time that is not possible. We will be reload for next year with the same competitive players we have always have had. We will miss playing against some of the best teams and players from around the country! See you next year, Win Downing, #33 Manager |

| Jan. 9, 2011 Chief144 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: TOC teams Yes, we did play against each other. We have moved up to 65s and have had a good year. We won the TOC as a 60 team last year. Giving it a try as a 65 team. See you down the road, Win PS: no sweat on the suck up, I would have done the same thing!! |
| Jan. 6, 2011 Chief144 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: TOC teams Birdie, sorry you are not going! We have already booked our hotels in the middle, so you can go either way to play. Get better rates and places if you book early. No need to suck up, he likes me anyway! Thanks, Win #33 Game On |
| Jan. 6, 2011 Chief144 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: TOC teams Gosh give Dave a chance to get the schedules done!!! He works wonders getting all the stuff done and with a record number of teams it will take some time. Relax and take some batting practice! |
