Hope things work out with your knee. I misplaced your coaches number, (for 55 over) wanted to let him know my achilles tendon rehab is going coming along but wont be able to play on it this year. Steve H

Thanks to all that gave the advice to aid in the rehab of the achilles. I've been doing a little of everything and am adding one that actualy helped also. A herb ointment called Armica seems to bring some relief when used to message the tendon. Ive had the brace that DD mentions and it does help. I'm seeing a specialist this week just to be sure its not a tear or as Rhino suggested, to be sure its the achilles or the lower calf. I'm still hopefull to play tournament ball this year, and I do appreciate the comments U have all left. If anyone has any-more please add them. Winter camp in Florida got me excited about playing senior ball, its the 1st time I used the composite bat..hit better today that I did 20 years ago. Thats motivation in itself.

I'm sure this has been on this post before , but whats the best treatment for a sore achilles tendon? Hurt it in spring training in Florida a couple of weeks ago, and with the season just starting I'm limping around. Any solid suggestions would be appreciated. Its the area just above the heel
