Topic: Rules of the game
Discussion: Game suspended due to weather

Looking for some guidance.
Rain during the 7th inning of our game resulted in the game being suspended. The visiting team was at bat and had scored several runs to take the lead. They were still at bat when rain forced the suspension of play.
The game was rescheduled due to field conditions.
When the suspended game is played, does play resume where it left off (with the visiting team still at bat) or would it restart as if the 7th inning hadn't started?
Our league rules do not address this specific situation so we defer to ASA rules.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to find an answer within ASA rules either.
