According to the Miken website, the MSU2 is also " Made In USA". Looks like just a marketing ploy.

I could be wrong , but wouldn't a good question be what is the best bat to use for these balls? I've never hit any of them.

Discussion: USA National Championship - 50-Major+

Not just Windy City,SSUSA has moved other quality teams down. SSUSA has begged for Major Plus teams for years, they finally start getting some, mainly from move ups from National and World Tournaments, and then, for some reason this year ,they are moving them back down. Can't blame the teams, have to blame SSUSA.

Discussion: What Define a Major Plus Player, a Major Player and a AAA player and Who rates Them

Someone can correct me, but I thought at one time it was stated that when a player was requesting a move down, a manager of the team he was playing for ,could write a letter stating that the individule was not a Major Plus , Major , or AAA caliber player.
If this has changed ,I would like SSUSA staff to clarify. Also clarify when a player can move down or what it takes to move down? (sitting out for a certain period, manager's letter,or change in age divisions?)
As plyers get older , they can't stay the same rating, the rating can only come down.I am not trying to burst the bubble of SSUSA which is consistanly trying to move players and teams up ,for the big boy's to play,I am just being realistic.

If Mike doesn't reply and make it right (he reads this board), then you know you just as well have bought an Ultra .You don't have to question the performance of Miken, just the durability which you didn't recieve from the Combat.

Discussion: TOC T ime O f C old

How bout the TOC played in Kansas City in Febuary? That might even things out a little. or give East and Midwest teams a run differential,or maybe give them a break on entry fee,how can you classify a team as Major Plus, Major or AAA,when they are from The east or midwest and have to play a teams from West or South in FEBUARY ? It all comes down to money ,SSUSA will preach about equalization until it comes to TOC.Then everyone from the west and south brag about how strong they are ,only because of the weather climate they live in will give them an advantage.Teams from Arizona ,Calif, and Florida, wouldn't fair near as well as they would like people to believe, in a tournament located outside the sunbelt in FEB.

Discussion: HOW ABOUT; BROKEN REEBOK THREAD

Miken is NOT friendly when it come to replacing the Ultra, a teammate broke his Ultra with 10 swings on it, he took it to the Miken trailer where we were playing and was told there was nothing they could do about it.Everyone knows there are a few duds in every batch, you just have to hope you don't get one.Because of our experience with Miken,I would say you will have to just eat it.

This bat is not proven yet,I don't care what all the sales reps are touting on here, If this bat is so much hotter than the Ultra, it CAN NOT be more durable,Read the reviews in 6 months of those who are buying the bat now, and decide then if it is really as durableas being described (as that is the only real question mark).I don't believe it can be as hot as described and also have any durability that is only common sense.

As far as parking lot rules go, some rule are meant to be ignored, just like the rule of wearing your hat backwards ,which is never enforced .

Played intournament inCouncil bluffs this weekend, a teammate had a ultra with only about 15 swings on it break. The Miken trailer basicly said too bad. They have a problem ,but won't admit it. Until they do I suggest all Seniors look at other Senior bats.We spend too much money on their equipment for them to just ignore this problemI personally, will only purchase Combat senior bats from now on.

I agree Brett , I believe this is the same team that had "Major Plus" on the back of thier uniforms in Phoenix.I questioned SSUSA about 3 teams last year, after the Phoenix Worlds, that played AAA and were rated Major, and they would not respond, You will most likely have to contact them by phone if you want any info. They won't respond on this site. Good Luck

Discussion: TOC 50AAA

You have to realize that most of the AAA teams participating in the TOC have won Major tournaments and already were classified as Major, but get to play AAA in the TOC, because that is the classification they were in to qualify.
What I'm trying to say is that most of the AAA TOC teams are Major. Sounds like thats where your team might belong if you played competitive in the TOC.

I consider the TOC a major tournament.
Should those winners be moved up,or
does it depend on the margin of score's?
