Discussion: New ASA bat standard

You can more than likely look for these standards to change every couple years, don't think for a minute that these bat makers aren't behind this either, as they love selling everybody a new arsenol of bat's every couple of years, The only way I wouldn't believe this would be if the bat manuf. offered exchanges when the standards change or otherwise discontinue the manufacturing of the new ASA standard bat's .But look at it this way, if you want to play ASA, why spend $299.00 for a 94 MPH bat when you can go to WalMart and buy one of those Easton Hammers oranother cheap bat for $30.00?

Winter Nationals was an 8 team tournamentwere ,were there 5 teams from their age division? I thought any team that won a World or National was automatically moved up the following year?

If 2nd place teams were allowed in, then how could you call it Tournament of Champions? For that tournament, the rules wre made by the people who set it up, it's there tournament.

I believe if you have to add players ,they have to be from the next age division up ,If you qualified with the 50 division, you would have to pick up from the 55 division within the same class, Not sure ,but that is how I read it.

Discussion: Terry, Tick tock, tick tock.

Seems Einstein wants someone banned from the board, so he threatens Terry with "clock is ticking" and "clock running out".About the only statement that makes any sense is "It's not really up to and about about you, ME ,not Gary or Rete or Dave blah blah blah "If you believe in this statement then get off Terry's butt and maybe open your own baord where you can toot your horn and blow smoke. If Terry is to start banning people on this board for negative input, and harassment, I hope he reviews all your past posts and includes you, which I don't understand why he hasn't already,If I was in charge of this board and recieved the continious criticism and threats that you give him , you would be one of the first to go.This board is not about you and what YOU want. You can bad mouth this reply all you want, cause it pretty evident you want to be the center of controversy, but I won't belittle myself to argue with you, like you think you have to with Gary.If you would have ignored him from the start ,he probably would have gone away, but no, you just kept throwing fuel to the fire. Now you have a blaze going and want Terry to finish what you started.

I believe it was a 34/26,but they had a sticker of $269.00.,and I think that might be a little high. let me know what you might want to offer for it and I'll see if they still have it and will deal on it. Last Sat was when I saw it.

I saw a yellow Rip-It ,NIW at Play it Again Sports and if I remember ,it had an ASA , USSA and a 1.20 stamp on it. Is this possible,or is this the way it came out before it was bannedby everyone?

I thought this was a well run and organized tournament, even though we probably didn't finish as well as we would have liked, that is no fault of the tournament,We played against some fine competition, and some great guy's, and had a really good time. Wife even had a good time and mentioned she would like to return next year.Thank's to Ridge and everyone else involved in organizing this event ,I had a great time and never heard a complaint from my team members.

Discussion: SPA Nationals in Dalton,Ga

Just found a post by BruceinGA dated Sept 2 (last yr). That post discusses SPA and playing down.In a new rule, SPA states you cannot play down from one classification to another in different age groups, SPA was even contacted in regards to that issue and clarrified that they were reading the rule correct.
