Discussion: ASA WORLDS AT BURLINGTON

Donnie, I do not want to get into a war of words with you about this. This is the first ASA Burlington tourney that we have missed in 11 or 12 years. The reason is why should we play for second place and that is what it amounts to. You keep on recruiting and we will stick with mostly our league players and see how the chips fall.

Jaywood I am not sure about the funded part for Turn Two. too many conflicting stories but they do have a great team. The part about not wanting to enter is very true. Thanks Harry # 20 NVFORCE

Donnie, I guess that you would rather play in a walk through tourney that play a better brand of ball. I think that you should look at this as a great warm up for when you play the west coast 60 major plus teams. You probably have the best 60 team in the country but all you do is whine about playing younger guys. I can see your complaint if you where LOSING but you are not. You do not speak for your team who will compete with anybody so quit lobbing and keep score. Thanks Harry # 20 NV FORCE

Discussion: Vegas Worlds Roster rules

taits, I agree with you about only picking up players on the original roster. if they did not make the qualifying tourney, why should they be punished. I do not agree with picking up two players. if these players are much better than the existing roster players then they will play. It would be the same as dropping two and picking up two better players. I am totally against that concept. Thanks Harry

If this tourney was held in G19's home town the majority of teams would attend. This is a big tourney for senior softball and teams would attend no matter where it was held. actually if it was held in Cleveland there would be more teams showing up. It does not surprise me that you went to Mich. being from Ohio, it just fits. Thanks Harry

Swing, I agree with you If you are playing then tear down the system but if you are sitting on your butt then stick your opinion in the same place. Thanks Harry

Bruce, We tried that in Manassas and wasted our money. Lucky it was just a local tourney for us, so we did not have alot of travel expense. Thanks Harry

I think that the word had not gotten out about the ASA changes in bats. As for the NVFORCE team not being there. I think we all know the answer to that question. Thanks Harry

SS, Goodman's has a pretty good team. I think that they are 50 major.there are a couple of others down your way. I believe that Spicers also has a team but they maybe 55. Wish that I could run like that. Thanks Harry

Hey Gang, Just wanted to clear something up. The Donnie from turn two is not Clatta. There where some players at the tourney who thought that it was him.

Ray was inducted into the HOF and He is a class act. Congratulations to him.

Turn Two is undefeated in the 60 major bracket.

NVFORCE got beaten real real bad by High Street Bucs and Pace. good luck to all three today. Thanks Harry

Ray Ray, Congratulations from myself and the NVFORCE team on your induction. You are a class act and have been for many years. If you can share the time of the induction, I am sure that some of my teammates would like to be there as would others on this board.See you at Valley View and good luck against the youngsters. Thanks Harry

Donnie, I do not know about the other teams. Your team is the only one that is in our age group. You have the best 60 team in the country and are located on the east coast. The competition for you guys on the east coast is rather sparse to say the least. If you had a 65 Major Plus team my guess is that you would be playing the 60 major teams even up. RB should have left the 60 division alone and used the equalizer with you guys. We have always played you with that rule in place and are about 1 and 6 against you. The games are some what competitive with the rule in place. I do not want to debate the rule about getting undeserved runs on this thread. I have always thought that you guys should not have to play down but for you to have a walk in the park against my team is not fair to us. Your team should have turned 65 this year and this discussion would not be taken place. Thanks Harry # 20 NVFORCE

Hey Donnie, I for one am tired of hearing about how many guys that are 65 on your team. You have a very good team whether you play against 55 or 60s. Do you think that you are the only team that plays 60s that have a number of guys that are 65 on it. I doubt it.We signed up with the intend of playing you guys.We would not have waited this long to play in one of RB's tourneys if we would have wanted you to play against 55s.I was actual looking forward to running my mouth against you guys this weekend. I guess that I will have to wait awhile to do it. Thanks Harry #20 NV FORCE

There is a Chart on the earlier discussion board regarding this. I think that it is about playing in the same year in two different age brackets. I am planning on playing 65 some next year but according to the chart I would have to play 65 Major Plus. I might as well retire. I believe that I will be allowed to play 65 AAA if that is my only team. If I play 60 major in 2013 I will not be allowed to play 65AAA.I hope that I am wrong. Staff can you help me out. Thanks Harry
