A little clarification. The runner ran across the commitment line and came to a complete stop waiting for the defensive player to make contact.

JT, I can fix your birth certificate and you can play 65M with the Matadors, LOL, don't I wish. If your looking for an exceptional ballplayer JT is among the best. Plays locally in Pensacola and has a reputation of being A WINNER.

Discussion: Get rid of Major +

My team is proposing to an association that a 70 Major Plus team should be able to register as a 65 Major team. We are expressing the idea that we would be playing in a younger division, therefore we should drop a rating. Bruce missed you in Montgomery, no M+ or M teams to play.

Joe, Write or email a letter to Ridge stating the reasons why you are not Major+. I did it a few years ago and was removed from M+.

IMHO, there should be no limit on homers for 70 and above. Additionally, the boarder state requirement should be eliminated for 70 and above. All the associations should be encouraging the 70 and above to get out and play

Bruce...At the NSA World Series a few guys from Columbus LX were using some metal bats. It seem that the metal bats were driving the 52/300 ball further than the plastic bats.

Discussion: where are all the pitchers

In Oct 2012 was hit in the head, spent the evening in sickbay checking all the pieces, next week or so getting use to walking without getting dizzy. Finially able to visit ENT guy and have hearing test...All is ok. Aug 2013 hit in the left ear by a thrown ball...punctured eardrum...Very little hearing on the left side...Will wear helmet. I agree with Mr Manassas...The middle is part of the playing field. BTW the way I favor unlimited home runs especially in the 70 and over bunch.

Discussion: Time to eliminate senior bats

Perly...Me thinks the above guys donot recall that the 1.20 amd 1.21 are one and the same...Just an formula error by the engineer. I believe in unlimited homers for all levels especially 70 and above...lol. Our game is becoming more like goofy golf. The beauty of baseball/softball was that we played with no time or home run limit, and thats the way it should be...Damm the umpires union. LOL

Don,
1. There should be no joining state requrement for 70 year olds and above.

2. No home run limits for 70 and above.

3. Eliminate the impact player list or atleast identify the requirements for being selected to the list.

4. 1 courtesy runner per inning.

5. Third strike foul ball should be a live ball where runners can advance.

6. Use the 52 core ball in all associations.
