Discussion: 60 AAA Team out of KC looking for players for Phoenix in November and into 2018

I have been picked up for Vegas Worlds. At this point in time I am still available for Winter Worlds. FYI...I have a buddy plays OF, lives in AZ who is also available. He was lead off on my former team, lefty with sneaky power & high OBP. This guy also plays CF for a 45+ baseball. He is a baller.

Discussion: Arizona Sidewinders Softball club needs players ages 55-80

If you live in one of these communities in Arizona - Festival, Pebble Creek, Traditions, Trilogy, Sun City, Sun City Grand or Sun City West and are playing on a tournament team or considering joining a tournament club we need to talk. We are rebuilding our rosters in all age brackets and are reaching out first to the local adult communities giving you the first opportunity to participate.

We are in need of quality players and will be coming out to each community to find you! Our greatest needs are the 55 and 70 brackets. That said, we do allow for a few players on each roster from outside the communities listed above so we welcome everyone who lives in Arizona in the Phoenix area, to check us out! Snowbirds are also encouraged to contact us.

This is an opportunity for you to join an established 30 year old organization. Once in our system you can (if you are good enough, a good sport and team player) move up to the next age bracket and continue to play. You must be willing to travel at least 3 times a year and participate in our organized practices and play in the majority of local and out-of-town tournaments.

Be prepared to play in 8-15 tournaments a year. If you are a team player who is not a “legend in your own mind” a good sportsman with a positive winning attitude, we want you!

Contact us today!

Call John: 623-583-3269 – Please leave a message with your age and phone number

I still have my original Brick phone...I use it to kill cockroaches. I still have a wood bat I use to soften my steak before I BBQ!

Discussion: 57 year old Phoenix AZ Area - looking for a more active tourney team

Play OF/IF and Pitch. Good arm, decent wheels, hit for average and behind runners when necessary, sneaky power and believe every position is important and will play anywhere I am asked to play. Currently on a 55 AAA team that does not play enough tourneys. Looking for a team that plays more than once every 5-6 weeks. My direct cell number is 623-583-3269. OK to send me a text or e-mail.

Discussion: Players Needed!

55 AAA Phoenix Arizona Area Team - Needs to upgrade 3 players
Our team is looking to upgrade! We need to fill a couple of holes in the Outfield and at SS. If you are over 58 please do not reply unless you have a cannon, wheels, hit opposite field with power travel and are OK with downing some brews (not before) after our games...you also must have a team, not a me attitude. OK! That rules out about 95 % of you but if you think you can fit this mold call:John at 623-583-3269 for details. Did I mention free refreshing adult beverages are always included every evening when we run rule the another teams? One last important point $200 covers uniforms and tourney entry fees for the balance of 2014 if you contact us before 3/28/2014. Call John at: 623-583-3269 for details. This includes playing at least once or twice a month and the team entry fees into Worlds. One final note: We do not need catchers, pitchers or 1st baseman...PLEASE do not call if you cannot run.

The 55+ Sidewinders Tournament team (only) of Arizona is having an open one day only tryout on 02/08/14 @ 1:00PM at: 107th Ave & W. Clair Drive. (North of Olive and South of Peoria Ave in Sun City AZ) The field is located behind the Sun Dome in Sun City.

This season we have opened up participation to AAA level or better non-resident experienced softball players for our age 55+ team only. We are looking for experienced tournament players who will not need runners. If you cannot run for yourself please do not come out for the tryout. Bring your SSUSA ID card if you have one.

Bring a check for $200 payable to The Sidewinders. The fee pays the entire year's tournament entry fees including Winter Worlds. We expect to play in 7-10 tournaments this year. We will be traveling in State during the summer months.

Our first tournament will be our Sidewinders sponsored tournament at Rio Vista in Peoria held the end of February.
