Discussion: Yellow Combat MM Gear vs Blue MM Gear

I've had no luck with the Blue MM. But I do like Combat. I have 2 white centenarians, 3 black centenarians 1 yellow MM, 1 ambush 1 dirty combat and the gray combat. They all are great bats. Went through 2 blue MM. The didn't last long. Must be my bad swing that did them in.

Discussion: Looking for a 60+ Team

bob I believe there is a tourney team in your area called L&M. Pretty good 60 AAA team. There is only one or two tournaments left for most teams so it will be hard to get on a team. It's a good time now for getting on a team for next year.

Discussion: What do you think of pay to play players?

I like the game an for me if I can't find a team that has a sponsor I'll pay to play if I like the team. For me a time $300 or so for a year of play is way cheaper than missing a day or two of work, hotel bill and gas.

It's probably on. Mobile is pretty close to the gulf. Leaving Nashville at 9:30am and plan on having a good time out in Mobile with my ball friends. We play my cajun buddies out of Louisiana the first game. I hope they have some mud bugs.

I guess you super stars think everyone else but ya'll know how to break bats in. I've got 15 other senior bats that hit well. Just cause I recieved a lemon is not might fault. I don't need Alan to tell me how to break in a softball bat. Just remember you can buy 2 mikens and hit them the same amount of times an one may hit great and the other not so good.

Still sick that it broke. Just got it wed. Hit with it a little sat. and she was gone by sun. temp. was between 65 and 70. Balls were good to go with breaking in a bat. Just have bad luck with Mikens. See you in Cartersville.

I guess I just don't have any luck with Mikens. Just took less than 80 swings and she was gone. The sound of the bat changed at about 60 but still wasn't performing like the combat dirty so I hit a few more with the maxload 2 piece and the ball did one of them famious curve balls and she was gone. I watch the Mike Kelly video of the mike 2 piece and they were hitting well over 200 swings with it using the same balls I was using. Well I guess I'll just stick to combat and reebok. I'm not that big of a guy. 5ft8". 185lbs. Must be the steroids.

Discussion: Best Cold Weather Bat

In the cold I hit with the Easton Tri Zone bats. These bats hit well at any temp. They take a little longer to break in but when they do good by ball. The Brett Helmer Easton Stealt bats can't go wrong. They have a pretty good sale on one of the Major softball sport sites. For the money these bats last a long time and the at moment instead of being $300 they are under $150. Can't put the name of the site because they will delete this message.
