Discussion: players please respond to rule changes

I play major and I vote no. I don't plan on hitting the pitcher. He just has to remember not to pitch an outside pitch when I have 2 strikes. I guess most players think ever hitter gets up to bat an wants to hit it out. Not true in the upper levels. I try to keep the ball down until we need a home run. Not to say i will. It's the pltchers job not to give the pitch that i'll looking for.The guys in the dugout aren't to happy if it goes out with no one on base. Like Patty said here in the south east we use a syn. Stote balls which don't last long. Much cheaper than the rock. The rock hits at lease 15 to 30 ft. further. We have more of problem with DR than HR's. I've played against aaa teams where 40% use the DR. It's not that most them can't run the coach wants to use a faster player. I wonder how much time that takes in the game.

Discussion: HR rule - why????

One does find out who has the better team in the 7th inning. Blame the TD for making the 5 run rule for each inning until the 7th. The game would have probably finished in the 3rd.

Discussion: SSUSA AND SPA MEETINGS

Don I would like ssusa to be like spa. A major team can pick up 1 player E or W of the Miss. I can play spa outside my boarder line with my friends but can not play ssusa.

Discussion: Looking to play in 2014 with team bordering Tenn.

Live in Tenn. Wanting to play 60aaa or 65 aaa. Play outfield, don't need a runner, hit above avg. Played 65m last year with panhandle hitmen. Being that I didn't border Florida I could only play spa tournaments with them. I just want play more tournaments and more teams so if i played aaa I play way more teams in tournaments. Discussion: Rock softball

So every ball that we say is a mush ball is the only legal test balls. The asa dudley advance balls I have last forever and out hits the rock and the fire ball for distance. So by the experts on this board which some have no name all the balls we ever used in the the past were test wrong. I guess they should test softball gloves for some people can't catch a ball and may get hurt. Probably some people need to start bowling.

Discussion: Yellow Combat MM Gear vs Blue MM Gear

I've had no luck with the Blue MM. But I do like Combat. I have 2 white centenarians, 3 black centenarians 1 yellow MM, 1 ambush 1 dirty combat and the gray combat. They all are great bats. Went through 2 blue MM. The didn't last long. Must be my bad swing that did them in.

Discussion: Looking for a 60+ Team

bob I believe there is a tourney team in your area called L&M. Pretty good 60 AAA team. There is only one or two tournaments left for most teams so it will be hard to get on a team. It's a good time now for getting on a team for next year.

Discussion: What do you think of pay to play players?

I like the game an for me if I can't find a team that has a sponsor I'll pay to play if I like the team. For me a time $300 or so for a year of play is way cheaper than missing a day or two of work, hotel bill and gas.
