last out won't spend up the game, play co-ed Tuesday and we can run for the ladies if needed by using the out lady out, it takes us way longer to figure that out verus using best available. it would be the same way with us in the Seniors, let the coach make the decision but be prepared, you know who needs runners, not excuse for any delay. Umpire needs to control the action, snooze and you lose. Not ready don't allow change.

Love the rule, helps off-set our lack of power. Love to run 5 or 6 times a game, my 3 plus 3 CR's.

Discussion: O.K., WHO ARE THE MOST SOLID AA TEAMS AND ARE YOU HEADED TO DALTON THIS THURSDAY? (especially 60 AA)

Anyone notice how poor AA Doc Martens walked thru Dalton without one game being close??? Poor decision by someone.

First anyone who thinks Doc Martens is a AA is crazy, they are closer to a major team. We played them last year in Dalton and that is one hell of a team.

Discussion: Why are there not any ranking systems for senior softball/ only rating??

MD your wrong. systemworks great in florida, played there for 10 years and we always played in 5 years division 50-55-60-65-70+. We always played team that match our playing ability, when we improved we move up, lost players or got worse we were moved down. This why most Florida teams don't go outside fla to play, their know they will face AAA teams that really Major, etc.Add playing 12 months of the year. We are in the wrong state Mad Dog.

I play 2 to 3 times a week, that is the only swings I take, but I do run 5 days a week, somewhere between 2 to 6 miles. Quickest and speed do more for me then upper body strenght. Extra swings cause me to have a tired arms and a lazy swing. I know I'm in the minority with this but you asked.

#6 Kenny, I can get you 4 players from our team but the rest would have to be from Tanel or others.

no senior bats. 44 core 375 balls, this we all should be able to live with. Let's play softball. Assoc's won't change anything we have too.

Well guys it's not just E,maybe it's in the water in NoCal, no one wants dumb down balls and bats, just that we use the same bats everyone uses. Senior shouldn't have to need special bats. Give the fielders a chance by taking away the super edge that we have given these great hitters who shouldn't need it in the first place.

Discussion: Major team bracketed in with AA / AAA

billcoo, there are over 90 60yr teams in florida and a well run tournament each month(12 each year) somewhere in florida, why would there want to travel 2000 miles pay $600 plus dollar to pay when they can do the same thing within in most cases less then 150 miles. Add to the fact the winter nationals are in ft. meyers and they have the best of both worlds. No one, sorry einstein does it like the florida half century league does. I'm hoping Texas can get to this point sometime in the future.
