I ended up with a bone/staff infection and peripheral cellulitis around the heal as a result of that blister I got on Sunday-should be healed by this weekend(couldn't even put on a shoe until this week)Arizona Rangers have called twice about Vegas-will have more info tonight-they need at least 2 players(60AAA team)Will talk to Tim Lutz tonight and see what's going on

Aug. 24, 2009 rocketman	Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Defibulators at SSUSA tournaments I will never have the blessing of knowing James,but I read with a contrite and heavy heart how he has touched so many.I am fairly new on this board and heretofore have seen mostly negative diatribes re; regional politics,unfair practices,money issues,ball and field quality,hidden agendas and rule interpretation ad nauseam.I had begun to ask myself,why do I want to get involved in this!After reading the above,the answer is clear.The third post from the top by Rightrj brought me to tears.The essence of what its' all about and what's important lies in the spirit of what has been written here.We get caught up in things and lose track of the things of value and it takes a jolt like this to refocus us.In Gods infinite wisdom,there was meaning and purpose in his existence and those who knew him and it is up to us,the softball community to carry forth his testimony,quiet integrity and legacy and make this a better association and world.I have been a paramedic for 30 years and if I start playing senior softball,you can rest assured there will be a defibrillator at any event I go to......

Aug. 20, 2009 rocketman	Topic: Players looking to join a team Discussion: looking for a team Hi Dave(Monts39)---If you are on this website(ssusa)you can click on regions and link on California=on the left you will see a list of clubs/league from which you can select.I believe the most appropriate one for you would be the ncssa website(northern calif softball association) and you should be able to navigate from there-otherwise call Fran Dowell who is the tricounty dirctor for norhtern calif.and he should be able to direct you accordingly-his number is 916-326-5303. hope this helps Dave-nice to make your aquaintance.....Rod

Had lunch with Andy just over a week ago and his (now)major team is going strong-they just competed in the Cal Cup and are planning on going to Vegas in late Sept. I'm not sure who docnorm\is-lol?
