tat22, fair is a reality if everything being equal.. you put the Tourney in the location for most success(where more teams show up)! If I was living in a smaller state with little or no teams, I would expect to travel!
California is a big state and even teams in Cali have to travel and rent rooms!

really pretty simple... 50 miles =s 50 min... get your room smack in the middle and have a 20 to 25 min ride at most.. problem solved! Thought Dave D would of thought of this for you guys already!

ok, so let me get this straight, the 65 year old AAA guy 5 years ago that was hitting the ultra 290 feet went out and bought a combat and added 20 feet(310), then the next year he bought the New Miken and added another 20 feet (330) then then the following year He bought an ambush, added another 20 feet.. 350 feet, Now he bought a Dudley, 20 more feet (370) this year he buys a Melee, 30 more feet (400ft) poor guys wife can't stand this guy anymore... Keeps checking out his guns in the mirror all the time now! LOL

Line them all up and they will be all within 10ft of each other FYI Everyone!

38 softball, it would be nice if you had more 70 year old teams there, but you are a winner if you played games and are able to play at 70 years old.. it's amazing to me that you guys are still doing this kids game..

all those bashing Allen for salesmanship or what they think are lies... FYI I have bought items from Allen for the last 4 years and found him to be honest and he has the best customer service out of anyone I have purchased from anywhere. I even busted his chops about the Ambush, but I do think he is 99 percent on point about his products! I just bought his sunglasses and they were a steal for $20 bucks..you will not find anything close for that price.. the case is worth that alone.. and anyone that can find Wintercrest cheaper than what Allen sells it... please post.. IMO! Also, we demo bats every year and I find Allens post about the bats to be pretty accurate, except for the Ambush;-) Cheers

I think when they are all broken in they are all within 10ft of each other... then it's what you feel comfortable with... For me, it's Durability... I haven't found one that last me over 200 swings yet.. I am giving Dudley two more chances... Seems like the second run bats don't live up to the first run!

Yep, Omar! I still can't believe it broke like it did. Hope the next two bats I have give me a better deal than this last one.

Wish you posted before last weekend.. I broke a Dudley with less than 200 swings and zero batting practice after 75 swings of Breakin....Dumped it in the garbage! loved that bat and broke it on first swing this year on a mis hit grounder in the first game of the year.. WTF anyway.. I have another one in my bag that has about a 100 swings. I don't hit BP with it and will see how long it last... so far it's lasting me about what a Melee would..:-(

Xavier, I wouldn't base the durability on stress Cracks in the paint.. hit it until it breaks and then let us know...

Mango,, as far as the bat and ball combo... Einstien told me they were playing with senior bats and the 525 ball, he said they would go 500ft. LOL...if this is true then that would be the hottest combination...

Ha, I thought the way you were talking you could do it at will ;-)
I would just say, at all the levels. I would judge it power wise like this, M+ probably all in the dugouts can get it out or should. major level, probably 60 percent maybe a little higher, AAA 50 to 40 percent..

Anyway, just because you have a good/great bat, doesn't make yourself a home run hitter... I can hit them and hit them pretty good when I get them, but still consider myself a line drive hitter with pop.. Hopefully we will see you in a tourney soon, Mr Turtleman!

Hey Omar, I know who you are and your size.. I would love to see you just hit 1 ball out of 20 swings out of a 300 fence! I would even put $$ on it you couldn't..

Glad it's performing.. I will say this, let's wait until the 40s and 50s start putting some swings on this bat and see how long it last.. I was swinging Melee only for 3 years until the Dudleys arrived.. It would be hard to get the Dudley out of my hands at this point.. I used to get 200 swings out a Melee if I was lucky.. Dudleys are going 800 swings by friends of mine with as much pop as any Melee..

OBP is great but RBIs Extra base hits should be factor in... now, that is good for 50 percent of the vote, now for everyone that doesn't know there is another part of this game besides hitting.. I'll let you take a guess, and this should be factored in! IMO
