| March 13, 2013 swing for the fences | Topic: Bats Discussion: COMBAT BANKRUPTCY USMC here is some info for you on Fords Bail out.. Ford requested a $9 billion line-of-credit from the government, and a $5 billion loan from the Energy Department. Ford pledged to accelerate development of both hybrid and battery-powered vehicles, retool plants to increase production of smaller cars, close dealerships, and sell Volvo. Ford is in better shape than GM or Chrysler because it had already mortgaged its assets in 2006 to raise $24.5 billion. Although Ford didn't need, and didn't receive any funds, it also didn't want its competition to get the upper hand thanks to the government bailout. |
| March 12, 2013 swing for the fences | Topic: Bats Discussion: COMBAT BANKRUPTCY I hate getting sucked in.. Bush and Obama both supported a bailout of the Big three. It's not a left or right spin, it's American spin... |
| March 12, 2013 swing for the fences | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Bat/ball combos of yesteryear meant to say he hit a building across the street from a 20 ft high fence and 365 to that fence... |
| March 12, 2013 swing for the fences | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Bat/ball combos of yesteryear Well Tim, I remember playing in State tourney with Greg Serna and myself with a fence 345 to center... We were swinging single walls and both put one into the parking lot... We had a little breeze that day!;-) Also, Moise hit one at Kimble in the City with a single wall bat and blue dot in left center that hit a across the street.. the fence is 365 and 20 feet tall building.. 400 feet plus.. this was in early 90s... I could go on and on with guys who were hitting the ball well over 350 ft with single wall bats.. Did they happen all the time, no, but the ball nutted back then with the 50 core 525 comp would go if you did! |
| March 12, 2013 swing for the fences | Topic: Bats Discussion: COMBAT BANKRUPTCY and I should say the all the presidents are adding to the debt no matter what side of the fence you are on... |
| March 12, 2013 swing for the fences | Topic: Bats Discussion: COMBAT BANKRUPTCY surplus during Clinton, are you kidding me... He left us with more Debt then he started with.. He had one year of a balanced budget but never had a surplus on the national debt.... Dot-com industry had a big to do about that one year... and poof that magic rock burst and there was more debt.. end of story! |
| March 12, 2013 swing for the fences | Topic: Bats Discussion: Monsta Athletics Senior Bats I say to everyone on this subject.. why don't we all wait for GSC or Steve to release a statement that his bat is ready for orders or in stores.. anything else is just the Same BS! |
| March 12, 2013 swing for the fences | Topic: Bats Discussion: Monsta Athletics Senior Bats That makes sense Troy, the way you were talking it was like it was out already.. I was watching the swings between games and it was performing like anything else in our bags... IMO |

| March 11, 2013 swing for the fences | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: Force play you have to have ball in your glove to glove tag someone or in bare hand and tag with hand with the ball.... |
| March 11, 2013 swing for the fences | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: 1-1 or 0-0 We just played in North cal this weekend, my team won the tourney, I batted 3rd.. zero zero count.. I got three ABs in 3 out of the 6 games... I don't know about everyone else but I can't stand getting 3 freaking ABs! one of the games our coach decided to flip to home team because we were up 10 runs.. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR play defense twice for one less AB.. Yes, I vote more ABs and less BS window shopping for the one on a Tee!IMO |
| March 11, 2013 swing for the fences | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Bat/ball combos of yesteryear Bigon, I don't know about you, but I have hit balls with metal bats in the last couple of years that went just as far as stuff I was hitting in my 30s.... Just, some can't understand that they dumb down the balls to keep these bats under control. Now if you were going to say we could hit 50core 525s like they first started in SS with Senior bats then I would agree with everyone that are complaining they are too hot... Biggest thing I see is the size of the sweet spot. Which makes it easier to mishit one out. IMO |
| March 11, 2013 swing for the fences | Topic: Bats Discussion: COMBAT BANKRUPTCY should of never stop making the yellow MM! |
| March 11, 2013 swing for the fences | Topic: Bats Discussion: Talk regarding illegal bats I will Ollie! |
| March 11, 2013 swing for the fences | Topic: Bats Discussion: Talk regarding illegal bats Thanks Ollie, one thing I compare this to is Baseballs Drug policy, I would make SPA ASA USSSA NCSSA SSUSA and all other sanctions say if they catch anyone with a shaved bat in any division there would be lifetime ban from all sanctions... This might get through to the few that feel they have to cheat to complete! |
| March 11, 2013 swing for the fences | Topic: Bats Discussion: Monsta Athletics Senior Bats Troy, there was only one bat in that dugout... why wasn't the whole team swinging that bat... my team played them and no one was swinging that bat! FYI |
| March 11, 2013 swing for the fences | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Bat/ball combos of yesteryear Tim, what balls are you going to let him hit????? SB-12 or a 525 50 core????? |
| March 11, 2013 swing for the fences | Topic: Bats Discussion: Talk regarding illegal bats Ollie, I know 4 people! Am I going to Rat them out? NO! Not my job! I would tell them to there face and not put them on the this site... At the end of the day, I feel sorry for them... Like I said above, they are only cheating themselves! |
| March 10, 2013 swing for the fences | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Bat/ball combos of yesteryear I remember swinging a 38 ounce silver Easton with some purple bands.. I hit a bunch of bombs with that bat and Blue dots.. |
