Sad the East won't have a team for the USA game so it will cost us a 2 seed at the worst if not the 1 seed... I say that any team that shows up that wins the National gets that #1 seed.. if will make the national a must event... no reason to penalize the team that shows up to the worlds with losing a seating because of team not showing! I say they make someone from the east 2nd,3rd, 4th,5th, place team play that USA Game! IMO

CallaVett, I would think that every size of a particular model bat would be considered a different bat as far as testing.. however, at the end of the day, does it really matter? The Bat Manufacturers have to comply to keep all the sizes of that particular model bat within the requirements as you have pointed out!

young kid with a new ASA bat... bottom line is I went and caught it at 390 feet away from homeplate... he hit one later in the gap for a homer but no doubt the new ASA bat made for new mushy balls hit's the crap out of a 44375 like a senior bat!

+-Omar, the new ASA bats made for the lower compression balls are pretty close to our senior bats..FYI! I ran one down the other night that was 390 ft from home plate in a ASA league!

Armiho211 I'm sure you will get some relief after you see the Doc and find the right course of action... I took the cortisone shot and it got me going in the right direction and with the Wall stretching, orthotic, and taping I have not had any issues since.. FYI

Lgoehrig, the difference between AAA and Major and Major plus is there are simply better teams as you climb the latter. More power as you go up and much better Defense! it's that simple..

first thing is go see a doctor.. you might get a cortisone shot to get the swelling down.. Then after you get past that you have to get on a daily regiment of wall stretches.. it stretches out your calf which means you will be stretching out the Plantar ligament... I have gone through this 3 years ago and have not had a problem since! FYI

TG69.. first of all, not every HR ever hit has to be hit on the screws! If you know me, I appreciate great D above even hitting! That being said, do I think half swings should go out of the park? NO! I believe that if I get enough of the ball it should go out and it does for me, most of the time depending on wind and softness of the balls!

Now TG69 if you were at the Calcup and western nationals.. you would find that HRs were down and runs scores were down and defence was at a premium... I didn't have a problem with that combination of bat/ball and most didn't complain! I would have an issue if it was dumb down to another level which would of been hitting pillows! FYI

Brock, I would love to play in Aurora! I have heard nothing but good things about the fields there... to Date the nicest complex I've played at is in Reno at Golden Eagle in Sparks and I've had others tell me about Aurora being right up there.. We will have to make it out there one of these years for one of our travel Tourneys!

Hey Brock, a lot of the Tourneys have fancy names, but who can actually call any of them True in the wording. There are a lot of good to great teams not making trips across country primarily because of $$$$$! I'm in CA, so why would we spend 2k to travel to Florida or Colorado when we can play in our Backyard... Look at SPA, it's not around in Northern CA this year. Not to many teams from northern CA playing that sanction.... it's all about the $$$$ for most! Closest thing we will get to an actual National championship will be SSUSA in Vegas! IMO
