Discussion: What's the best bat for open tournaments?

BW, I called and talked to combat company about the Ambush and Dirty and the Cent, and he told me all three barrels are Identical! nothing different other that the paint and handle! So the bottom line is you are buying a pretty color over the other! Fact!!!!!!!!!!!!

Discussion: What do you do for arthritis

Try Ice treatment... I watched a 60 minutes years back about these kids in Asia, that were deformed from Arthritis and they started an cold treatment... the results were miraculous! They were 100 percent normal in months of starting this treatment... should look it up online.. see if this could help you

Discussion: Playing Time

It's difficult to keep everyone Happy... Everyone wants to be in the lineup, however there are only 11 spots! So, I would reccommend getting guys in the seeding games that might not be starters as much as you can without jeopardizing your team... Bottom line is the bench players need to know their roles and all other players have to realize how important that bench is to preserving starters legs down the stretch. My team self sponsors too,and has been successful with a bunch of unselfish players for the most part.. We get some squawking once in a while, however we just keep moving forward with what we have been doing! We are honest with everyone and what we expect..

Dirty/Ambush/Combat have the same Barrel... all the same materials! call the factory and ask them the difference between them.. maybe the handle and the paint.. that's about it!

Discussion: Good umpires / bad umpires

I second the thought on Tommy! IMO when the umpires are friendly and don't make themselves bigger than the game, I know for myself I overlook a bad call way easier than if it was a umpire Nazi making the call. I Know we have a lot of Umpires in NCSSA that interact with a lot of us players and it makes for a more pleasant experience for all of us.. Seems to me that the friendly umps have easier times of it in the heat of the battle with the close calls.. Players tend not to go off on umpires they respect..

I feel for you with all those expenses Timmy, however you could of got much more bang for your buck if your team didn't bat out of order! FYI ;-)

Steve, the Baden would be a good alt to the Rock or the Stote in hot weather! FYI

and the Baden is rated at 44 375 without the MCT that may or may give the Rock 525 capability! Seems to me if they are testing the compression of those balls the Rock cheats the test as others have suggested and the Baden is fair with no soft cover to get around that test! IMO

not true,, the Baden doesn't have that squishy cover that the Rock has... so how can it be the same??????
