With just 7 teams in the 50 Major Plus division, round robin format with best record and use the run DIFFERENTIAL as the second tiebreaker. If EBO would've have won Saturday night, we would've played OKI for the third time. Maybe next year we'll have 10 teams, oh wow!

I just got the 13" one a couple of weeks ago. Haven't done the oil & oven break-in method yet. Price went up $10 because they are using a newer leather. I'll be using it when I pitch.

First swing with my 27 oz. balanced at the SAC Complex last night was a HR. So far, 5 swings and 5 hits! Doesn't FEEL different than any other of my other SENIOR (Black & White Centenarians, Senior Gear, REEBOK Melee EL or BAL, & gray MIKEN Ultra II) bats. Let's just hope the AMBUSH can last a whole season with my 5'10" 190 lb. body swinging it!

Discussion: Any Reviews on the UltraII USA model SPU2P

Bought one (27 oz.) late last year and just got a little crack last week at the NCSSA States in Manteca. Didn't take very long to break in and was only used during tournament play. Putting it away for now and will probably DEMOLISH it in Vegas. Now, got to go to the bag and decide what to use for now: REEBOK Melee Balanced or Endloaded, COMBAT Black or White Centenarian, Senior Gear, or Red Short Barrel Endload, and a 2011 WORTH XXX. Game on!

I have a DEMARINI "The One" senior bat (27 oz.). Has pop like all the other senior bats I have. Haven't used it much. A rep had told me they got 4 to try out and all of them broke with the longest one lasting about 150 or so swings. I have less than 100 on mine with no gametime swings. In my bag: MIKEN Ultra II USA & MaxLoad (red), COMBAT Centenarian/Senior Gear/Red EL, WORTH Toxic XXX and 454, REEBOK Balanced and EndLoaded. All are 27 oz. Broke one black MIKEN Ultra II last year.

Discussion: What sport consisted of your athletic career?

Started my athletic career when I was 9 back in 1969 playing Little League baseball down in Chula Vista, CA. My first team was the Crewcuts (team picture on my Facebook page) in Minors and then followed my older brother Johnny (Oh My - Fresno)through the Major & Senior leagues achieving All-Star status as a 12-,14-,and 15-year old as an outfielder/pitcher. Oh yeah, my PARKVIEW Little League won the World Series in 2009. I only got as far as Sections in the Majors. Played high school baseball for 3 years (JV MVP '76) and played 3rd string defensive back for the football team in my senior year. Joined the Air Force in 1978 and retired in 1998, along the way playing slowpitch for various squadrons and base teams. Player/Coach for the Miller Lite All-Stars (AF, Navy, Marines) on Guam from 1990-92. Arrived in Sacramento in 1992 playing for the McClellan Jets until I retired in '98. Went to work for Dept. of Corrections and have been on the law enforcement circuit since '99. Dislocated my throwing shoulder back in '83 while playing flag football as the QB and Safety. Did it while pulling a flag. Suffice to say, sat out for a couple of years then came back playing as a pitcher, 2nd & 1st base. Highest level ever played was the ASA Class C Nationals in Midland, TX in '93. Played with Scott's in ASA 40+ Nationals play and have been with the East Bay Oldies since '09.

Have a 27 oz. balanced. Broke my black MIKEN Ultra II this year. Second one in two years. In my bag now (2011 WORTH Toxic XXX, 2012 Worth 454, COMBAT Senior Gear, Maroon Short Barrel, Centenarian, REEBOK Melee Legend balanced & end loaded, DEMARINI The One 26 oz., MIKEN Ultra II Maxload, 2012 Ultra II (Made in the USA)). All are SENIOR 27 oz. except as noted. Used the COMBAT Senior Gear last weekend at the Winter Worlds. Usually stay with one bat until it breaks. Probably have about less than 150 swings on the Centenarian. Has POP like the other senior bats in my bag.
