Discussion: Individual Team Member has a Covid19 Positive Test Result

If a player tests positive for Covid19 while participating in an SSUSA tournament, that player would withdraw from further participation. Is his team also required to withdraw from the tournament?
For sake of this discussion, let us assume that the other team members immediately went to get tested and the results were all negative for the remaining players.

Discussion: 2020 LVSSA/SSUSA SOUTHWEST CHAMPIONSHIPS (Cancelled)

The Southwest Championships tournament was rescheduled for August 28 - 30, 2020. Is this tournament cancelled? The title of this event includes the word "... Cancelled". Is it really cancelled or are SSUSA just waiting until the deadline of August 7, 2020 to determine its status?

Discussion: Ratings

Got a ratings question. My team is going to the Worlds in Las Vegas this Sept therefore we submitted our roster as a AA rated team at this past June's qualifier. Subsequently, in July, we were rerated to AAA. How does this affect our teams chances to play in the AA classification at the Worlds?

Thanks 'curveball'. I have been using these bats since they were first made by Miken. I try to keep an eye out for more of them that someone maybe interested in selling to me. I am currently looking for a 26oz if someone had one available.

Discussion: Batting Tee Recommendations

Here's a product that I have had since 2008 and it is still in new condition. Works well because of it stable base (with a metal plate in the plastic). See FallLine Product's Batting Tees.

I have the Single Pole product that raises up to 40inches. That is a pretty good height for most players.

Discussion: Vegas - Session 1

I know of several Hawaii AA teams that are at the Worlds to win. They are NOT recreational teams. Just wish there were a higher number of teams in the AA. Yeah, we realize that we start in AAA, the first time, then are usually dropped to AA because we didn't perform or win several games. Still the rating process doesn't seem to need fixing, in my opinion.

Discussion: KT (Kinsiology) Tape

I have been using the kinesio for over 5 yrs. It works well for me. Especially, for knee area problems. I have treated shoulder and knee problems with it. The key is to apply the tape correctly to the affected muscle and joint areas. There are actual classess to certify theraphist on how to apply the KT tape properly. A good alternative is to purchase Kinesio tape that is "pre-cut" into the appropriate shape for the treated area. You must follow the instructions precisely when applying the 'pre-cut' tape.
Visit the site listed below. Also for the 'pre-cut' tape see SpiderTech link below.

Discussion: Infielders; do you wear a cup?

This new style cup seems to be an innovative style to will keep you 'junk' comfortably in place and protected. Has anyone tried to use it with other compression shorts or were you just using it with the Nutty Buddy shorts?

Discussion: Miken is NOT taking care of the problem Ultra IIs

I have a very similar dead Miken 2 that I bought earlier this year. Can anyone confirm that I can send the bat to Miken WITHOUT a RECEIPT? At the moment I can't find the receipt.

FYI: I got a response directly from EVOSHIELD. They discontinued the white sleeveless version (Senior model). They suggested ordering the Regular Shirt (Grey color). I will just pursue that suggestion.

Discussion: EVOSHIELD Senior Softball Version - Purchase Just a Replacement Shirt?

Hey there folks, can anyone tell me where I can purchase a replacement WHITE shirt for my EVOSHIELD Senior Softball Sleeve? I have been looking and can only determine that there is a gray version for sale (chest and back sleeve version). Cannot find the identical shirt to the original shirt when I purchased the complete package more than a year ago.
