Discussion: Dalton, Ga.SPA Worlds

Could someone please tell me, WHY, we have to play Thur,Friday,Sat and Sunday for the 55AAA ???? Even with 2-3 pool games, are we playing 1 game a day, or 2 on Friday? I can maybe see Friday start for 50s/55s..but Thursday for everyone??
Someone please, explain the reasoning for a 9am Thursday start for these age groups?

Thanks

Shane...I believe u are CORRECT on the "very small margin" for EXCEPTIONS..I had a SENIOR MOMENT on remembering those items!! haha...

Any team "ADDING SOMEONE",,,best, check the player out before u add him...save u a TON OF HEADACHES!!

Terry,Dave,Fran(SSUSA) and company..along with the other Softball orgs,Ridge Hooks (SPA) do a pretty darn good job of trying to make OUR GAME, "fair and safe" so we can all compete at a level of play...sometimes it doesn't seem fair but for the most part......ONE HECK OF A JOB by these people.....

Best to "everyone" getting ready for the WORLDS u choose to play in for 2011 coming up!!!

Just an observation that I see over and over, from guys saying "they will be in a particular part of the country for a time frame and are looking to play or pickup on a team".

The rule is: ESPECIALLY, in the SSUSA WORLDS,SPA WORLDS, ISF WORLDS, ISA WORLDS.....SSUSA in Phoenix, AZ, you have to have "qualified with a team in a SSUSA qualifer, somewhere with YOUR TEAM, in order play in the "WORLDS". You need to live in a bordering state of the team u play on or in the state. You can't just show up get on a team. As a matter of fact, (example) if you live in Michigan and plan on being on vacation, business or just visiting in St.Louis, and there is a Senior tourney in St.Louis...u just can't show up at the tourney and play with anyone u want. (Oh sure, u could) if you get caught, the mgr. is suspended, you are suspended and possibly the entire team is forced to disband or disqualified from the tourney.

All of the Senior Organizations are pretty direct on the state bordering rules in order to play Senior Softball.

If someone needs to add or take away from my 2 cents worth...maybe they can clear up any other gray areas that NEW SENIORS may not realize.

Best of Luck on finding a team.

HEY Nancy....not sure, WHY...they put the Mid West Nationals in Kansas????????????????
We'd have drove 200 miles to play...NOT 500+. There would have been some more 55AA there, LIKE US who would have made the bracket competitive.

Oh well, SPA was is in Columbus, Ohio next weekend, we'll play that. It's in our back yard.

Best to all the teams going to Kansas....
