Discussion: Question on a rated player situation

A 70 Major Plus player has no team to play on, the only active team in the country (Omen) has a full roster, there are no 70 Major teams with an opening for a Major Plus player (all have 3 Plus players signed up)in the area, there are no 65 Major teams in the area; so, 60AAA is the next possible division available. After playing 4 60AAA tournaments, 60AAA team appeals to be dropped to AA. If appeal is granted, is that Major Plus player then eligible to play at the AA level with his current team, or is he once again without a team?

I'm sure Ed will have bats with him; please confirm Ed. Also, talked to "curveball" last evening and he will be playing at BLD and/or Arroyo Grande all 6 days and will have a supply of the Ambush with him.
Great tournament to all.

G, a "cancer" on a tournament team does not usually have a talent problem. It's not a talent issue, it's personality! Normally it's a mouth problem, always negative, usually insulting to others, and most of the time a negative influence on the team. Kind of the "little big man syndrome." Sometimes thes types are actually pretty good players, just not the type of guys you want to play with day in and day out.
On the small scale, these types will be scooped up by "league" teams to help win the little neighborhood trophy as you've claimed. They'll put up with a guy like this for the minimun number of games just to be the best in the neighborhood. Tournament teams on the other hand will leave this type of guy off their roster because of the amount of time guys spend together, he'll just bring them down. Fact is, not all personalities fit the team concept.

Swing, based on what I see posted, G may well have been the cancer most "team" guys fear and try to avoid! That negative attitude, the guy nobody wants. I'm sure it is in all phases of his life, not just his keyboard game.

taits, I don't think so on the discrimination, but it's funny!
It must have been an oversite, there would be no logical reson to change that rule at 70. Perhaps SSUSA can enlighten us on this one.

As far as community, like you brag on your education when challanged, you don't want to go there! I wouldn't challange your education..........don't try to match neighborhoods on ths one.
As far as the size of my mouth, it's large, confident, and from the heart; and I'm sure I can back up what I say on the field, or off for that matter. How bout' you? Can you? And, for a keyboard athlete, for what reason is my name important to you? What purpose would it serve? I'm sure the majority could care less what your name is, and I sure they feel the same about what mine is.

HJ, correct you are. 19, bomb dropping in softball refers to hitting long balls, you know, home runs (with Senior bats no less). It has nothing to do with combat. My family is a military family. 3 generations of fighting for the USA. Currently, a son-in-law, a Captain in the Marines, a lifer, served in Iraq and Afghanistan, has one more deployment in about a year. You've stood behind your kids athletic accomplishments on here instead of your own, are you going to do the same for your military background also?

What "anti war" has to do with softball is you remind me of the a$$ who protests everything(including war), and every other cause that comes along. You seem like a blowhard that belittles others entertainment from an ivory tower (which is actually from a keyboard in a not so nice of an industrial bedroom community; a far cry from an ivory tower) with disregard for how others feel. As far as you being a nobody with a keyboard that quite frankly on most days would look great shoved right where the son doesn't shine, right up there in the brown, I do feel that very strongly about that. As far as that poor kid that has you to look up to as a dad, no "war" bombs ever intended, as I have total restect for those in the military, God bless him and bring him home safely. Just thought you to be an agitator like most protesters seem to be. If you want to think it's dumb, do so. Cuz' frankly my dear, I don't give a ____!

Gary probably using his anti-war message again, "No Bomb Dropping."
I'm sure he's waiting for your leg to heal before administering an "ass woopin'" on ya! He'll make the next one, going to run out of excuses!

When you are a playing member of the Senior Softball community, or a Senior Softball HOFer, and not just a key board want-to-be, there is mutual respect amoungst players, and sharing info is the norm. If The Wood, BruceinGA, double10, or lots of others post results of bats they've tried or hit BP with, their opinion would be highly regarded. They share info out of mutual respect, something highly lacking in you corner.

TRI, not questioning your qualifications or you experience factor, just looking for your source of your sales numbers. Also, you said to look "Nationwide", I've checked on the internet in every way I could, haven't found any sales figues yet. Still seeking your source that would prompt you to post that Reebok is the current United States sales leader. Are you basing that statement on your personal bat sales?

TRI, what is your source for the facts given that Reebok is the #1 selling Senior Bat at this time?
Every dugout I look in has the UII as about 80% of all bats.

Just for Fun won the winners bracket over Desert Dawgs. Doubt either team coming out of the losers bracket would have enough to step up and beat them twice.

"It's amazing the SSUSA let's someone so negative about the Senior game and rules, spew his venom on the message boards. Anyway, I must admit, it's entertaining to watch the most hated person on the boards stir it up!"

Swing, if you read through past posts, Softballfans.com had enough of his crap and banned him. Long time members said the move was extremely positive.

"If I didn't care, I wouldn't care that:" Better stated would be, If I wasn't such an a$$, I'd let people enjoy what they choose to enjoy. Being a non-partisipant and a follower rather than a leader, it's none of my business anyway." Like has been said so many times to you, if you don't like it, correct it or go on to some other form of recreation, let those who enjoy it play it. Seems like a simple enough solution.

Just curious. How many teams did you turn down?

Your decision not to play has no doubt disappointed a lot of women, they dig the long ball you know.

Unfortunately, you've painted yourself into the corner that "heif" talks about. Your posts reflect a POS that has no clue, based on lack of partisipation and knowledge of today's current conditions.

It's not "heif" dislikes of you 200-300 times, it's more like the majority of the board dislikes you one time, the present time.
