I met Navy at the Bullhead City tournament this past weekend. He is a very good player on a very good 55+ Major/Major+ team from Minnesota (I can't remember the name of the team, all I remember is the ass whoopin they put on us). Navy was hitting the ball extremely well with his Monsta bat. He brought it over and showed it to me and offered to let me use it in my next game. I unfortunately didn't take him up on the offer. The bat had very good feel to it, 27oz balanced nicely. He didn't try to sell me one, so he is on here just stating his opinion. Get some facts before you start spoutin off about something you know nothing about. Ya crabby ol farts. ;)

I play 55+ also and live close to Sun Lakes in South Chandler area. If you want to get some batting practice in sometime let me know. I know there are some daytime leagues in the Mesa area I understand starting after the first of the year. I have never played in them but I'm available too.

I had the opportunity to tour the Sunshine Acres Children's Home a few years back. I was extremely impressed with what they were doing there. I remember hearing the success stories of kids that were down and out due to no fault of there own and after being cared for by the excellent staff at Sunshine Acres going on to succeed in college and sports. If you get a chance I highly recommend you get involved in the charity events being held to support this incredible endeavor.

I played in the 55's. I too had a great time. Great teammates, good ballgames, fields at Lorenzi were very nice. The Umps....their human. hahaha. I think they did a great job. Wish I could have gone up and played the 50's the next weekend. I would play again in Vegas in a heartbeat. See ya all in Phoenix in a couple weeks.

If you weren't there and you don't play, mind your own business and stay out of it. All you do is get on here and make moronic negative statements and you don't even play the game. Get out there and compete, then your opinions would count. Now go ahead and blast me like you do everyone else, I DON'T CARE.

Any batting practice sessions going on this Thursday night in Vegas? It's always good to get some swings before playing.

Discussion: Ambush Review

I didn't mean to start a war just wanted to make sure the bat was legally good to go before anyone spends there hard earned money on a new product. I remember this being an issue at Phoenix Worlds when the Reeboks came out.
I was hoping the SSUSA hiearchy would chime in and make us all feel warm and fuzzy about this new bat. :)
