Yes so if you don't make false claims you don't offend anyone, that's easy. As for my new ball that other associations use, hell that is old technology. Yes they hit great just like the multi layer balls I made many years ago but better. They don't knuckle and drift like the balls used in Vegas and still hit just as well.

My new ball is the NX3 way better than any technology on the market anywhere.....

Wait til the multi layer NX3 is out.

Here's why I never lie. Half the time I can't remember the truth.......

Well Don I guess the good in all of this is that you openly admit that you and your friends are low life cheating scum with no regard to your opponents life or safety concerning a recreational game. You must really feel good about putting your opponents life and health in jeopardy and at risk for a NON ELITEST recreational league that means nothing as you describe.

Who paid the medical bills for the guy that got his jaw broken? Your family must be so proud of you.....

Cougar if I had any say in senior softball I would suspend you for a year admitting to using rolled bats on this message board.

You try to justify it by saying you are not as big and don't hit the ball as hard or far as others.

That is the problem with the game, instead of playing the best of your ability you have to cheat to be better than you actually are. I hope someone at home gives you a medal for your performance, because you are a fraud and a cheater in real life.

Trying to justify cheating is lamest thing you could ever do. I guess you have not accomplished much on the field before composite bats and now you can be a league ball hero.

Hell all of the senior associations have levels for EVERYONE to compete in, you shouldn't have to cheat to play at the level you are qualified for.

You can change the sweet spot by altering the COP which is also the MOI being altered. That is why I say in relation to the MOI. @ exact bats with different end loads will have different MOI's, but they will be the same in relation to the MOI. You can find the exact sweet spot on an altered bat at the field in less than 10 seconds, it is simple and effective. The only problem is the bat companies do not make every end plug the exact same. So 2 identical bats in model and weight can be off a little.

Sweet spot is always going to be in the same place as in relation to MOI. It can be found on any bat, any weight, and even after it has been rolled or shaved.

Finding the true sweet spot is simple and can be done at the field in less than 10 seconds. I demonstrated this to Dr Richard Brandt in 1994 at his lab at NYU. He was the head of the Physics dept, and official bat test lab for USSSA and developed the bat test being used today by all associations. ASA uses the same test administered differently to suit their needs.

The game is being ruined by cheaters and the bat companies are also to blame.

Right in the contract it says that bats have to consistently meet the specs, well that is BS. As soon as senior bats break in they are way over the specs. How about doing what every other association has done and not allow bat manufactures to make bats that CONSISTANTLY hit well above 1.21 bpf.

The study was done at WSU by Dr Lloyd Smith. It is Cheating, rolling a bat does things to a bat that hitting cannot do. It separates layers that never get separated by hitting a ball. They did extensive testing and have the info published on their website. They have also figured out how to detect it. Right now it is only done in the lab but he is working on methods to do this on the field. Same guy developed the on field bat testers.

Discussion: B/P and senior bats

I have received many calls about B/P and senior bats lately.

With the bats becoming more durable people are not worried about hitting them in B/P like they used to.

Most of the time it is not the bat. MOST of the time it is the balls.

Any ball that has a soft outer layer should never be hit in B/P. These are multi layer balls and even though you feel like a hero hitting them they are damaging your bat. Most bats break in B/P even if they do not show signs of that. They will show signs of the damage later. Multi layer balls are a much higher compression than advertised and have a severity index up to 3600. The SI is simple, the higher the number the higher the impact force.

.44 are also high, as much as 2400 SI.

.40 are as high as the multi layer at 3600 SI.

A few more things to consider is old balls pick up weight due to moisture. Wet balls from hitting on fields with wet grass. How many times do we take B/P before a tourney and the balls are soaked from the dew? Conventional balls are picking up that water and damaging the bats. The water soaks into the seams and the cover now becomes heavy.

If you spend money on good B/P balls and store them properly you will save money on bats, and balls last much longer than bats so the savings is long term.

A good 1 piece softball can save you money for years to come.

Feel free to call with questions.

ME 0 NH 1

They guy from NH plays on a MA team so he is legal under the old rules.

Here is an example of why this is a good idea. For 4 years a team had the majority in Ma and was registered as a MA team. They picked up a few players from NY, That made them a NY team. The 1 player from NH was now illegal and had no place to play. He played with the team 4 years. They were not loaded, they did not win any worlds in any association so they were not trophy hunting. Their many other people in the N.E. that are not playing because of lack of teams. It is not about loading up it is giving players that are geographically locked to move over to another state and play.

Here is a good question for you. When was the last time a team from these states won at the Major-Major+ level?

Chili you might want to look at a map. MA and RI touch NY so they were already able to play on a NY team. There is very few players and teams in the entire tri state area.

It is not where you want to register. You still have to have the majority from a state to declare it your state. So any of the new England teams that pick up other players will still register in the majority state. if the majority is (lets say NY) they are legal under the old rules anyway.

Forget about the number of people that live in the NE, most don't play softball. There is very few recreation programs and softball in the NE. The New England players are stuck when it comes to finding teams to play on.

I believe this was decided on because the amount of registered players and teams versus population.

Stick I understand, sounded very good and many tried to make it happen. the unfortunate part is good people got conned and I just hope for the people on this board realize that good people with solid back rounds tried unwittingly to promote this.

This doesn't mean they are bad people. Con men are like magicians they make things appear to be different than they really are. I am sure these reps that tried to get this bat out to market didn't profit one dime. It probably cost them plenty. They probably gave up family time, travel expenses and more to go places they normally wouldn't have to promote this and all for a total lose.

XE was a man all to his own. There will never be another like him. It would do all us good to try to be more like him.

For those who didn't get PRIVLEDGE of knowing him you really were cheated on meeting superman. It was never about how good he was at the game, even though his entire career he played at the highest level with many of the top teams in the nation.

He was always the guy that put you above him on and off the field. He never spoke about himself and accomplishments but always acknowledged yours. He never owned anything or did anything that was more important than his family or friends. Most importantly no one ever had to ask him for his help, he already helped be fore you needed to ask.

In 2010 and 2011 I had 2 major battles with my health he called me everyday and wanted to just come over to sit with me, he lived 2+ hours away.

Yesterday there wasn't a person in that line that would have given up being there for anything else in the world and there wasn't a person in that line that wished we could have done more and been a better friend.

It truly was a honor and privilege to have him in my life and there is nothing I could ever do to repay him for that.

The factory wasn't owned by GSC bats it was a manufacturer that was going to make the bats for them. NDA's are very common in this business. I have signed them with many manufactures and testing facilities. These people have intellectual properties that they need to protect. I am a little surprised that they let in people that did not have ownership or operational commitments to GSC. Normally you have to be vested in the company to get in places like this.

Like I said, many appear to have been conned in this. Mike and Ed are some of the guy's that believed in a product presented to them and the belief that it would make it to the market place. I think that make them more of a victim than accomplice.

Stick not sure that my perception is based on facts. these are some things that were told to me by someone that lives in the same community.

The Fact that she has her own attorney and has entered in a plea and he has a public defender and has postponed the arraignment may tell more of the story than some are looking at.

They will get their day. As I said there are many kinds of victims in this. Not just the investors. People paid for bats they will never receive. Players bought in to this B.S. and used their credibility to help promote this, and they may have unwittingly damaged their credibility. It does seem as though some are calling people out on this. I am sure that by the time they realized what was going on it was to late.

How about the church members that welcomed him into the church, they are just as much a victim of this as any. Friends and family also, imagine going out in the community and others point and say "they were friends with those 2".

It's called a con for a reason, they steal your confidence and use it to exploit bad.
