Jan. 2, 2012 dandy47	Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: bifocals and softball I wear progressive lens glasses off the field. However, for softball i do mono-vision, wearing one contact lens for distance in my dominate eye (for me it's my left)and nothing in my other eye. Your brain takes over on which eye dominates when needed for focusing. That worked pretty well for me for about 10 years, now. I also do this when playing golf.

March 25, 2011 dandy47	Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Once in a lifetime play? I know the pitcher, in this case. He has bad knees and back, sore hamstring and wears bulky shin guards and a mask; and I'm sure the runner on third MUST have been slow. Kudos to the left fielder, though.
