Discussion: Meniscus Surgery Recovery Time?

I just had mine done 4 weeks ago. They told me it would be 4 weeks best case to start playing again. I did play a little in after 3 weeks and it felt fine. Just took it easy running and batting, just trying to ease back into it.The hardest part was not to over do it.

Discussion: Oblique (ribcage muscle??)

I had same thing happen two years ago. As I recall it was about 4-6 weeks before I could swing or throw or even run without pain. The only thing I know of is time to heal.

Discussion: Doctor says I have a hernia

Thanks Shane

My pain is in the middle just below the waist and also below that on both sides.

I've had people telling me 2 months to recover but hoping it's shorter than that.

Discussion: Doctor says I have a hernia

I went to the doctor Monday and he said I have a hernia and referred me to a surgeon. Has anyone had this done? Just trying to figure how long I will be out.

Ed question for you

My Reebok has what looks several small cracks on it. Not sure if these are paint cracks or is the bat starting to crack ?

Discussion: What would you do

I don't try to go up the middle but sometimes it does. I know if it should hit the pitcher I will let him know I was sorry it wasn't my intent. I was just wondering if someone hit the pitcher and said nothing was it their intent to hit the pitcher

Discussion: What would you do

While pitching this weekend I took a shot off the leg just missing the family jewels. I know that is part of the game and it’s no problem. My question is what would you do if you hit the pitcher? Do nothing or apologize to the pitcher. I hit one up the middle that hit the pitcher and I went out of my way to apologize.

The few times I've been asked to sign a waiver all that I had to do was sign next to my name on the lineup card. I don't see how this is considered signing a waiver

I've taken a few swings with my melee 27 balanced and so far been hitting it around 280 ft. I've noticed even with mis hits the ball will jump off the bat. As the weather warms up and I start playing hopefully the bat will continue to perform good. Can't afford to keep replacing Mikens

Discussion: Broken Ultra 2

Mu ultra 2 broke about an inch above the grip. It looked like someone had sawed thru it. Clean break, this happened in Vegas last year I took it over to the table where they were selling Miken bats and gloves and was told to call Miken and it would be replaced because you could see where on side of the bat was thicker than the other and this was a defect. You can guess what happened when I contacted Miken was told no warranty. One of my teamates bought one in St George and ussed in a couple of games and when we got home he took it out of his bag a noticed it was cracked Miken told him the same thing. I would have to think real hard before I bought another Miken bat

That was great. It helps us to remember what Senior Softball is all about. Being able to still play this game. We all have aged differently some have had accidents where we don't have full use of some body parts but we still play this game we love. We all can't be Major plus players

Discussion: HOW ABOUT; BROKEN REEBOK THREAD

I had my Ultra 2 break in half about and inch past the grip in Las Vegas. A mike rep told me to cantact Miken and they should replace because you could see that one side didn't have fibreglass on it. I got a ra# from Miken and sent to them they sent it right back and said no warranty.
