| May 16, 2013 Mario | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Rock - n Reno What happened to all those teams that were going to play in Reno in 50+ Major plus division? I was under the assumption with all those Major teams that they moved up that there would be at least 10-12 teams there. But hey, I'll take 5 in every tourney if thats all we get. |
| May 10, 2013 Mario | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Rock - n Reno Dave from SSUSA e-mailed me today and said that there were 5 teams as of 9:45 this morning. This did not include Demolition and Arizona Elite, they had not gotten in yet. |
| May 9, 2013 Mario | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Rock - n Reno How many 50+ Major+ teams are going to Reno? OKI will be there. |
| May 9, 2013 Mario | Topic: Bats Discussion: Bat list for SSUSA Does anyone know where I could find the banned bat list for SSUSA? |
| May 7, 2013 Mario | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: weightlifting I lift year round to try and keep my strength. Depending on how much I play determines how heavy I lift. If we don't play for 3-4 weeks then i'll try and up the poundage. If we play every 2 weeks then I'll do lighter weights more reps. But I will always keep doing Yoga once a week just to stay limber. I started doing Yoga 2 off seasons ago and it makes a big difference in your swing. That tightness you guys are refering to will go away with Yoga. I personally do the P90X version of Yoga. |

| March 21, 2013 Mario | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: What is 400 feet.... They should paly all Major plus tourneys on baseball fields. At least on fields that are 325 all the way around. I hit with 2 other guys are we are consistenly hitting 400 ft. homers. Or better yet make the Major plus guys use USSSA bats, and test them like do in young kids ball. |
| March 21, 2013 Mario | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Tired of breaking bats Mike, I feel your pain. I did the same thing my first year of Senior ball. Here's what I do now. I get a USSSA bat that swings like my senior bat and use it for all my bp sessions. When I get a new senior bat, I break it in by taking 25 1/2 swings, 25 3/4 swings and then 25 full swings. After that I use the senior bat only in games. By doing this I have had a senior bat last me all season the last 2 seasons. 7-8 tourneys both years. Maybe this will help you. |
| Feb. 8, 2013 Mario | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Player Ratings Ii just looked up that tourney in St.Louis and it is 9/6/2013 and 9/7/2013 in Bridgeton Missouri, which is right by the airport. |
| Feb. 8, 2013 Mario | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Player Ratings Thats funny Tim, since your the one crying about Plus ball. St.Louis, I have not got our schedule yet. If we go I'll be sure and look you up! |
| Feb. 7, 2013 Mario | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Player Ratings Some one needs to tell Tim that there has been a different winner in the 50+ Major+ division 4 years in a row now. I've only played plus 3 years and ther has a different winner at worlds every year. Where is all this domination he's talking about? |

| Dec. 10, 2012 Mario | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: one out bases loaded Oops it should read ground ball, not bround ball. |
| Dec. 10, 2012 Mario | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: one out bases loaded If it was a line drive, runner on 3rd is safe. The runner running from 2nd would be out. If it was a broung ball the runners that are tagged before they get to the next bag are out. |
