I played in an unlimited arc leauge my 1st year in softball, 1980 I believe. The team that won the leauge every year had a guy that could throw it 20-25 feet every pitch. Did not matter if the count was 3-o he still threw it 20 feet high. I can remember getting shut out by them guys. One thing for sure is you learned to wait on the ball.

Seriously Tim, I don't hear Plus guys on here complaining about the Plus game like you do. I'm still trying to figure out what you are trying to accomplish since you don't play Plus youself (worlds).

Tim, under "Your" rules we could end up playing in the worlds against Resmondo if we kept winning worlds. I know what we should do is all go back to playing the young guys, do away with senior ball all together. LOL

I'm not any bigger than I have always been nor am I stronger than I was when I was young. To get to the performance enhancing stage you have to get your levels up to the 14-1500 range, which is unhealthy for anyone. Also , I will keep doing this as long as the Doctor wants me to. They key is to get your numbers where you feel the best. That might be 800 for 1 guy and 930 for the nest. WE are all different so what level is best for you is anyones guess. You just have to get it up to where you feel your symtoms go away.

Have any of you guys ever had night sweats?
Do any of you feel fatigued all the time?
Do any of you feel lethargic a lot? Has your sex drive went to almost nothing? The answer to these questions for me was a astounding YES!!! I thought that was all part of getting old. Then I heard some seniors talking about hormone replacement therapy. I said "What, thats for women." Then I decided to check it out. You all have seen thses Low T commercials on TV. At my 45 year old phsical my Doctor asked me if I had ever heard of this Therapy and at that time I said no. He told me he had been doing it for about 10 years, he was 61 at the time, and he said he felt like he did when he was 50 years old. So all these years later, I'm now 52, I heard all this talk and decided to check it out. The first thing they do is aske you a bunch of questions, if you answer yes to too many of them, they will suggest you get a blood test to find out what your levels are. Levels of testosterone, HGH, PSA, Cholesterol, Estrogen, White blood cells, red blood cells, and everything else that I cannot think of. Then after they get the results they come up with an approach to get your levels at what they consider normal. I'll use my numbers as an example, my testosterone levels were 430. The average males levels are between 700-1000. So my Doctor reccommended me going on the Gel. I did this for 6 months and my numbers did not changed much, nor did any of my symtoms go away. Then the Doctor prescribes injectable testosterone 1/2 ML every week. I can't speak for everyone else but this was an answer to prayer for me. I immediatly quit having the night sweats, I found my ability to concentrate a whole lot more and that feeling of constant lethargicness went away. My sex drive has improved and it just makes me function a whole lot better. My HGH levels were not low , but if they were I would do that if the Doctor reccommended it for me.

Discussion: What are you thankful for?

I am thankful for my Lord Jesus Christ who gives me everything I need. I thankful for my wife of 31 years who has put up with me and all my hobbies and for not ever having a fight or an argument. Thankful for my 2 sons, who were promised to me by God, that I would be the only son of my father to have sons. My 2 older brothers have 5 daughters between them. I thankful that I still have a good job to go to everyday. I thanksful for this wonderful game that I still can play at the ripe young age of 52.
I'm thankful for my Pastor who preaches the Gospel without the liberalism that has invaded our churches.

Tim, what is your definition of a dynasty?
The 2 years that I have played Plus ball there has been 0 repeat winners in the Worlds with the exception of OKI winning the SPA Plus world 2 years in a row. But that was because there was none of the teams from out west at Dalton. I just don't get the dynasty talk when there have been no repeat winners in the Plus divisions for SSSUSA for the lst 2 years.

I was not with Hanks team when they picked up Nevitt. I played for his team for 2 years, 90 and 91.

Never played with Riverside, and I did play in the Super division with Starpath/LeAlco. I am never afraid of playing anybody, never have been never will be. I just don't know why you keep harping on changing a division that you don't play in? Is it perfect, no, but it is what it is and for the most part we Plus guys like it!!!!!!

There have been 3 different Plus temas win the Worlds in the last year. So dynasty talk is all just that, all talk. Us Plus players would like to see more teams, but we are also realist, we know there are not that many teams that want to play in the top division. Its common knowledge that we like some changes, like going to 90 minute games or no time limits so we can get the full game in. But I don't hear Plus players complaining that much on this board, it usually coming from people who are afraid of moving up. Oh by the way, just so everyone knows I'm #10 on OKI and my name is Dale Mayo.

Discussion: Cardiovascular Fitness

The best thing I have ever done for cardio fittness has been P90X. This at home work out will get you in the best shape of your life. I have had knee issues and back issues over the years, but this program helped me strengthen both of them with little or no problems. Be prepared to work as hard as youever had, but in the end this will get you in the best shape of your life.

Just wanted to let everyone know how well the tourney went this past weekend in Chattanooga, Tenn. We played in the mens 50 and over division. The fields at the Summit were in great shape even with the rain they recieved friday night and saturday morning. The grounds crew kept the fields in great shape every game. The umpires were consistent and the atmosphere was a lot of fun. We won our age group and we recieved championship rings, sweatshirts, t-shirts and a golf towel and a small drawstring bag. BSC did a nice job with this tourney. Just wanted to thank Reedus publicly for inviting me down to play with them. I had a blast.

Jawood, I would just add time to the games. 90 minutes should be the time limit at worlds for the Major+ games. I will never vote on over the fence balls being an out at the top level of play. Being able to swing away helps protect the pitcher and infielders. At my age I don't want people trying to it hit down on purpose. I'd rather see them try and hit it out.
