SSUSA, If I have say a 60M team and I add 5 65M+ players to it what would be my rating for my team?

Discussion: Use a plate to touch to score, over crossing a line

Couple of years back we played in the Worlds and we used a scoring plate. In our first round robin game on Friday our lead off hitter was coming to the plate and the throw as well and when the runner went to take his last step to touch the plate he slid across the plate and tore his ACL on the play. There was a dew on the plate (early morning game)and he was lost for the whole tourney. Actually for the whole year. The line would not have given the same results. I believe the line is safer than the plate.

Discussion: Shoulder replacement

Thanks uk1. I had rotator cuff surgery 3/14/16 and have more pain and less range than I had before the surgery. I also had a shoulder guy and have no idea what is happening. He was able to fix three of the four tendons. I have an appointment Wed to ask what my options are because the pain is substantial. Hopefully we can come up with something?

Discussion: Shoulder replacement

uk1, are you saying you may not be able to play because of the doctor, because of the shoulder replacement or because it has only been 5 weeks? Just the fact you can reach over your head without pain is what I want. I am in the same situation as you were and have been contemplating the reverse shoulder. Good to hear you success.

Discussion: Scoring of Runs - Question concerning interpretation of Section 5.7

Couple years back they changed the rule to be more consistant so it's two bases at time of throw from wherever on the field. However, USSSA is different where if you are going back to the base last occupied that is considered one base. However, I think everyone is missing the point that once the ball goes out of play the play is dead and the timing rule is null because the award is automatic and all runners get two bases at the time of the release. So, it doesn't do any good for the base runner to go back and tag up because play is dead. All runners get 2 bases awarded. No one is called out and both runs score.

The catch was made causing second out and the throw went out of play. Both runners awarded 2 bases automatically.

Again, it doesn't matter when the runner left the bag at third because the ball went out of play so the bases are awarded to the runners. So both runs should score? SSUSA please correct me if I am wrong?

Isn't the lead runner safe also because he was awarded home on the throw out of play?

Fred you as a pinch hitter can only bat once in that role. The second time would have to be a different batter right?

ALLTourneyPit If you are a AAA team you can have 3 M players on your roster and still remain AAA team. If you are Major team you can have 3 M+ players on your roster and remain Major?
