Personal Review:
WOW is the first thing that comes to mind. I hit this bat with Anthony Kelly and Chris Evans on 1.24.13 and got back to the store in a hurry to call Don Cooper of Combat Sports to tell him to get this into production asap. I have only hit 2 times in the last 3 years and had a ton of rust to knock off and this bat made me look way better that i really was at this point in time.

I can honestly say that i had fun hitting this bat. The ball just jumps off of it and carrries a long long way. Sweet spot for a 13 inch barrel is huge and way more then fair. We Swung both a balanced version and an end loaded version today and Anthony was hitting both the end loaded version and the Balanced version over 400 feet at least 6 times. Chris and i enjoyed balls in the 330 to 350 range. We will have a video up in a week or so for you to both hear and see the flight coming off this monster of a bat.

More to come with this bat

Mike Kelly

GREAT....Another bat that is more potent than last year's Ambush...or is it a newly painted Ambush....how can anything be more potent than that bat and be legal?????......it amazes me every year that bats come out and just when a bat comapny says, "This bat goes right to the edge of legality and distance etc" and then next year they take it farther.......marketing is an amazing thing..now if the SSUSA would just crack down on these equivalents of hitting "golf balls with aluminum bats" mentality

I was just saving up enough money to buy the Miken Ultra 2 piece. Now the new "latest and greatest" bat is about to be available.

Gimmicks to make you believe your hitting ability will dramatically improve with this new bat.

Swing....
Lodi If I remember correctly its a 262-265 fence. Why you need a 1.21 or a U2 bat to go over is beyond me.
If the Dirty bat is that good I can imagine how long it will last. Or not.

Just move the fences in to about 200', but leave the 300' signs up.....or maybe change the signs to 400', what's the difference?
As long as it makes YOU feel better. After all, it's all about ME. I can't help but laugh.

ok...forget marketing for a bit.....i have hit the ambush and it was obscene.....and now they have a bat that hits farther???? my only qestion is/was, how do these bats keep out-performing previous bats that are already to the limits of legality?????

If the bat(s) pass the standards test it's legal. But with better performance (pop) your bound to sacrifice some in durability.

Heck all the hype on that "Core" bat guys bought into, never say the light of day but for one person I know of who had to sign a non disclosure agreement to just see it.

Would be nice if you could get both performance and durability out of these, but it's unlikely if you hit hard & often. If you do not perhaps you get a little more of both however. That would be a good thing.
Wonder what happened to the Twilight bat that came out shortly after the Ambush. I haven't seen or heard much about it since then.

i have the reebok Melee and that was hitting blasts until I used an ambush.....i never got one because I had my senior bat but it really made me wonder who makes these standards and what does it take to pass a test????...as for durability, I'll just stay with my U-trip worth 454...has super durability and pop...not quite senior bat material but enough to keep me happy for now...and legal in any non ASA league

I'll wait a little while before I buy the combat dirty. My Ambush, white and black cent. are hitting great.
