| March 8, 2013 ShaneV Men's 55 351 posts | I like the Ambush 27EL, been using it off and on for almost a year. Very solid feel. Great line drive bat, and the ball comes off quick. Feels and looks very durable. Used it first time this year last Wednesday, 45 degrees and raining. Bought 10 last year when they came out and sold them around our area. My go to bat has been the original senior grey Combat 27EL, have 2, may be nearly worn out. Have hit a few 310' in the right conditions, not a HR hitter. Also have an Ultra II 27oz, swings light, when I need it, and a couple NSA bats for another league. ShaneV |
| March 8, 2013 Silk11 Men's 50 38 posts | I swung the Ambush for the 1st time at the TOC last month! I absolutely love it, sometimes its hard to tell how hard you hit the ball as there is no vibration! In my opinion, there is no comparison out there! |
| March 8, 2013 bkb555 60 posts | i used an Ambush in BP a few times and it really flies off the bat..i regularly use a Melee and the Ambush hits it farther....supposed to be durable too |
| March 8, 2013 miken44 72 posts | have both 28 oz bal broke in real nice solid line drives and will hit the long ball very well also just got a new 28 oz el have not swung it yet but the ambush is as good as anything i have swung have a black u2 that is also very lively but i think the ambush is still better |
| March 9, 2013 Fabe Men's 50 133 posts | My gamer is a 26fl., I did use a ASA stamped Ultra prior. I really had fun swingn this bat at the Vegas Worlds. Cracked it at approx. 500 hits, but its still alive. This bat fits my swing perfectly n I will highly recomend it. Aloha, Fabe |
| March 9, 2013 Tri18 354 posts | Thanks guys for the great feedback. The Ambush is growing steadily all over the country. The more different people have a chance to hit them, the more demand continues to increase. We are actually trying to get production going quickly to keep up with demand as my stock is low right now. If you have any further questions about the Ambush or any senior bat get with me. Alan Tanner Team 1 Sports Developer of the Combat Ambush 561-718-7504 Tricoach18@att.net |
| March 12, 2013 PeteC Men's 60 1 posts | I have had the Ambush since August 2012 and just purchased another one from Alan a few weeks ago. Cracked my 2nd 28oz Reebok Melee Legend EL last week. Both of the Reeboks had less than 300 swings on them. I have at least 500 swings on the Ambush and only the paint has chipped off. When you hit this bat on the sweet spot the ball just rockets off of it. I agree with Silk11 in that there is absolutely no vibration on miss hits. Alan is the absolute best person to buy from. You really have to try it to believe. Thanks Alan for the time and effort you put into developing this bat. |
