SENIOR SOFTBALL IN AUBURN, CA
We are starting a softball program for seniors 55 and older here in Auburn, CA, located in the Sierra foothills. The format is drop-in, with teams chosen from players that come to the field Tuesday and Thursday mornings starting April 20 through October 28. The usual low impact senior softball rules apply. However, we will play a full 9 innings, and with the drop-in format, teams will usually be 11 on a side. That means you‚ll play the field every inning and you‚ll bat more than you will in a league. We don‚t keep standings and batting averages, so the pressures and demands of a league are eliminated. You can relax and enjoy the game. League players are invited to participate and sharpen their skills. The price is right, too; just $25 for the entire season. For further information, reply to this message, or call the Auburn Recreation District at (530) 885-8461, ext 0. Registration is required.
