rockin reno game sites
SSUSA: Any idea when you will be posting where each division is playing? i sense that players are hedging their bets by reserving rooms in both Reno and Carson City, thus resulting in hotels being artificially overbooked.

Thanks in advance.

udaplaya,
If you are playing the first weekend (Memorial), I think the tournament will be played in Reno (Golden Eagle). I feel this is due to the annual 24 hour tournament being played in Carson City that same weekend. I am not sure about the second weekend.

Thank you, Allan.

We do play the first weekend, so it looks like Golden Eagle, which is a very nice complex.

All Session #1 (Men's 50's and 55's) and Session #2 (Men's 65+ and older) teams will be playing in the Reno/Sparks facilities, as Carson City/Centennial Park is not available to us until Session #3 (Men's 40's, 60's and all Women's divisions) ... The Reno/Sparks facilities include Golden Eagle Regional Park, Shadow Mountain Softball Complex and the Reno Softball Complex at Rancho San Rafael ... The Session #3 facility assignments will be forthcoming a little closer to the entry deadline ...

Staff, heard that some of the divisions wil be playing only on Friday and Saturday--no sunday games to make it easier for players to travel back home. Is this true?

Not true. Session #1 runs Friday thru Sunday to allow travel on either Sunday evening or Memorial Day Monday. The tournament is "dark" on Memorial Day, resuming with Session #2 on Tuesday thru Thursday and Session #3 the following Friday thru Sunday.
