Vegas Spring 2013
Again (darn it), I have to congratulate Hollis (60 M+) on a great tourney. We about had you on Saturday, but you came from behind like champions. You just flat hit the ball hard and played great defense. End of story. We cannot wait to get on the field with you again. (If I never see another knuckle ball in the outfield, it will be too soon). D&K-could we have played 3 closer games? Also look forward to future games. The fun is still there!

Congrats to the great competition this weekend. It is just outstanding to still be able to play a sport with and against individuals whom you respect and enjoy their company.

Kudos to the officals, umpires and staff at BLD. They made our experience even better.

Super Kudos to the fans...it was fun to have Webbie's prior team, The Desperados, cheering him on as he was hitting bombs.

Especially appreciative of the wives and girlfriends, what they endure to support their significant others is beyond the call of duty. They have got your back, even if it is extremely hairy.

Rockin Reno Here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Webbie and Big Mike, we really enjoyed playing against your exceptional team this weekend! You guys have become our "left coast" rivals and we really look forward to coming and playing power ball! What a great park and some unbelievable talented teams with exceptional ball players like Imlay, webbie, Big Mike, Vern and the rest of you Hall of Famers! Let's continue to build the 60 major plus division and see if we can get more of the east coast and central teams to "come out and play!"

You guys go and tear up Reno and we hope to see you in Dalton!

correction above-'bombing out' on Saturday-I was terrible.

Audieh-great to talk to you again. With you and Paddy Mac and Bobby and all the rest you will continue to be extremely tough. And i will continue to look forward to playing you. Your left fielder was awesome defensively-what a find!

Congratulations Hollis, It was a pleasure to have played against you men. You guys only made 2 outs the whole game against us (D&K). We should of had 5 (LOL), but 3 errors cost us 3 outs. Hollis is a GREAT hitting Team, No dought!
Joe Browns what can I say, You beat us 3 out of 3 times this in this Tourney. Also it wasn't Mike 2 HRs that hurts us, it was Webbie 3 HRs with men on every time that hurt us in our final lost. Nice games to the both of you and the rest of the Joe Brown Team. Tell Joe, I'll will have those Beers before the game next time if and when he offers them to me again.
Well Guys it looks like Hollis is the Team to Beat this year in the M plus Division , and I am looking forward to playing them whenever we get the chance. But in the meantime D&K and Joe Browns will keep on beating up on each other.

Kennard-as my teammates reminded me several times on Saturday after I struggled badly, one person does not win or lose for a team. We had a great team effort to win that last game. I don't think we had an out in that 9 run bottom of the seventh inning. Team win. The beer offer is always there if we are ever not so hot and tired after playing!!

audieh-such a solid team-I've always said to be the best you have to beat the best. I don't understand the guys that want to break up great teams for the 'good' of the game. I can't wait to play you again-and hope you are at full strength. See you in Dalton.

Webbie and D&K,

Great fun and great games in Vegas. That is what you play the game for, close games and great competition. Great hitters and players on both teams but even better guys.

Always enjoy seeing and playing against the West Coast boys. The fields were pure enjoyment for an old Southern boy who is used to just seeing chain link parks. I thought Reno was the best but now i think Las Vegas. Hope we get to play there again in September.

See you guys soon.

Great tourney in Vegas with some outstanding play in the 60 Major Plus divisions. Not a large number of teams but good solid teams participated. Hollis put on a show all weekend and played well both offensively and defensively. Great to see all the guys and look forward to playing them again in Dalton - Class Act!!
D&K really played well and was in every game. Hit the ball hard and played well defensively.
I agree with Patty Mac this is why you play the game!!
Great job by the staff and enjoyed playing in the Field of Dreams....
Would have posted something earlier but was having problems getting to the reply scree.
