Thanks For Your Prayers!
My granddaughter, Mena, is doing wonderfully well. The difference between the Children's Hospital emergency room, Thursday night, April 24 and now is indeed miraculous. There will be minimal scarring on her face and the only memory she has of the dog attack is staring into the face of the dog!

I shared with Robbie Faucett a few days ago that one of the great blessings of senior softball for me is getting to meet and hear from great people who are so kind and thoughtful. Your willingness to offer prayers on behalf of Mena are greatly appreciated. God bless you!

That's good to hear, Southpaw.
Grandchildren are one of the few things in life that isn't over-rated, IMO. I know of several players that missed quite a bit of their kids' events but will not make the same mistake with their grandkids.
But more importantly, as a grandfather, I'm sure that you felt her pain and would have preferred that the dog bit you.
We have triplet granddaughters that will be 4 in 6 weeks. They were 11 weeks premature and spent two months in the NICU. Other than one of them wearing corrective lens, they are very healthy and are bonafide 'mind blowers' for our whole family. Every time that I see them I laugh uncontrollably... but I'm very thankful of the road that they have traveled.
God is good.

Mahalo for the praise report! Many times we take what God does for us for granted! Enjoy the time you have with all your love ones! Aloha, Fabe

Mena continues to improve; thanks again for your thoughtfulness.
Wood, glad to hear that your triplets are doing wonderfully well. You are right about grandchildren; they keep us young; they keep us laughing and on our toes.
I have 4 grands--3 girls and a boy. A few weeks ago, my 5yo asked me "Why did God make mean people?"!
The other day, my 7yo grandson had a discussion with his dad about needing a haircut. His dad informed him that when he was born, he had a head full of hair. My grandson's response: "Was it more than grandpa's armpits?"!

Fabe, you are also correct. We need to proclaim God's grace and mercy. God is indeed, Good!

So glad to hear that Mena is doing well.

The Georgia Alabama Masters will continue to keep your family in our prayers.

Also, your team continues to get better every time we see you. Why to go.

GOD Bless

Thanks, Perl. My team is not able to attend Pensacola, so I guess we will see everyone in Marietta.

My teams have been playing Ga/Al for the past ten years or more. In all those years we have defeated you once! I think it was in Marietta about 9 years ago, we were up by 18 runs in the top of the 7th--Ga/Al scored 19 in the bottom!
