| July 13, 2013 B.J. 1105 posts | is this an appeal play? deep fly ball to left field with runner on 1st, runner rounds 2nd and realizes ball was caught and in returning to 1st base he never re-touches 2nd base. Is this a straight out call by the umpire or an appeal play by the defense? |
