NCSSA meeting TODAY 127 @10 am
The Annual Managers' Meeting will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, at a new location this year.
It is NOT at City Hall as in previous years.
The meeting will be at 220 S. Main St., Manteca. NCSSA Board meeting will start at 9 a.m., the general meeting will begin at 10 a.m.

Here is what I remember.
I was requested to but fourth a rule where 70's up could request to play with a scree in place. If both managers agree. President nixed it. Was said they didn't rant it as a rule but should be allowed if both teams wanted it. NCSSA also did not want TD to need to go purchase them either which I agreed with. Anyway it was said after meeting that the TD's would be foolish not to allow it. I agreed to that as well. So who know for them, it will take two teams to request it at some event.
Screen RULE was shot down. Was told if both teams want it it should be allowed. Lanny didn't seem to like it
(Having screens there) and NCSSA did not want any cost burden put onto TD's for their use...That I understood. John R. said later to me that the TD would be foolish not to allow them if both tams wanted it. i agreed.

Rule was made for players of ALL age levels being allowed to be on TWO rosters. This one went on for a long time. Was stated that 65\70 have now, it but not 75's. It was the 50\55 who wanted it and included 60's but not 75'. Another vote made to include 75's to play on two 75 teams was ok-ed.

So all ages can be on 2 rosters... it could become a problem for teams to get who they to go to specific events want when a couple players want another one.

Another was done about playing in BLD NCSSA event only... you could play both sessions I think it was ok-ed too. Thurs\Fri & Sat \Sun
No other events though for that, err both sessions.

None of the SSUSA new rules were ok-ed. All were shortly discussed, None were agreed to. I think that was good.

Not very many were there and address was actually the wrong one given. That was the Animal shelter which had its address changed from the 220 to 115. It took me a while to get info. It was held next door at the train depot.

They will be cutting down number of events so hopefully more are filled even though it may cause some teams to be rejected that wanted in... but we know how that is handled.
So bottom line there is send checks in very early to be in (lol) as they said but again it doesn't mean you will. Gary T. said the already had about 50 for nest year. None mentioned.

Some votes were close.

I think that was all of it. List for nest years events should be out sometime next month.

Deal,
They also are allowing all area reps, both primary and alternates to vote on issues at Board meetings, other than that, Scott pretty much summed up the activity at the meeting
